Several guys who would have been good for us, have been traded but we are stuck in the middle of the Jaylen Brown drama cycle until it resolves.

Seems like there are going to be some drafts coming up where like 3 teams will have all the picks.

Weird trade for sure.  Minnesota is blowing it up.

Dang. I did not realize that. I am listening to Chris Mannix and Evan Turner. They are talking about the LaMelo trade. Charlotte put LaMelo on the Wemby plan and played him only 28mpg this year. I never noticed this when I watched the Hornets.

28.0mpg
20.1ppg
7.2apg
4.8rpg

Those are great numbers in 28mpg.

That is 26pts 9ast 6reb per 36min.

Mannix said they put LaMelo on the Wemby plan because they thought this was the only way they could keep him healthy.

Tim McMahon was saying that LaMelo had zero trade value last summer because of his injury issues. He praised Charlotte for trading him as soon as got through a healthy year in order to get out of this constant injury risk that LaMelo carries.

I wouldn?t say Minnesota blew it up. Their starting group is really solid:
Starters: LaMelo, Edwards, Dosunmu, McDaniels, Gobert.
Bench: Connely, Hyland, Shannon Jr, Kyle Anderson, Beringer.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

MIN has 3 guards, 1 forward who doesn't rebound, and Gobert.  Ball has durability issues.  I understand moving on from Randle, but this team does not scare me.

Minnesota have been linked to Mamu. I wonder if they play him at PF instead of C. Use him as a stretch PF.

Minnesota were trying to trade Gobert to Charlotte instead of Naz. Charlotte said give us Naz instead of Gobert or we have no deal. This is according to Jon Krawczynski.

Minnesota wanted to keep Naz. They didn't want to give him up. But Charlotte insisted on Naz presumably because Gobert is so old (34yo). He didn't fit their timeline which is fair enough.
