I hate to say it, but Conwell is an excellent pick up for Miami. They desperately need shooters.

Time to see what we have up for Vuc.

If they still had 38 got to think 38+40 would have been enough to get up into the early part of the 2nd round if they had wanted to.

Don't love that pick.  A one-way defensive SF.

anyone know anything about this Dillon Mitchell?  possibly a pick for someone else in exchange for a later pick and a future one?

Ya don't love this pick. Seems likely he's close to a zero shooting the ball and will be 23 by the start of the season so hard to see as a long-term development play.

Seems like he went right around where most places had him projected, so not a surprise pick. Probably a two-way depth guy.

Seems like he's a defense/energy/rebounding type guy.

I am a big Uconn/ST Johns fan. He only played for ST Johns his senior year. He is really athletic, shut down defender, mostly dunked the ball when I watched him. He is really fast, not sure if he can shoot, he never did much when I watched him.

Maybe they are counting on either Walsh or this guy to develope a reliable corner 3 shot and play the Bruce bowen role as a lock down defender 3 and d type situation.

Veesaar must have done something behind the scenes lol, it's crazy he's fallen out of the Top-40. Really wanted the C's to get him even at 27, yet it's 42 and he's still there and we passed on him twice

In four college seasons he went 11-57 from three and shot under 50% on free throws, so that's rough.

Jordan Walsh at least shot 71% from the line in his one year in college.

This is a guy who has been no hope levels of brick over a very large sample.

But who knows, maybe the Boston shooting staff can work a miracle.

4 year college player that shot under 20% from three and under 50% from the free throw line.

0% chance he develops a reliable corner 3.

Im surprised im saying this but I really dont like what the Spurs have done in the draft. They had a real chance to get add some depth, but I don?t like a single player they have taken.
