Is Jaylen Brown really sacrificing at all?

In what world does he believe he's sacrificing, compared to other star players in the league?

This is a team of 2 stars. That's the usual in just about any team in the league. Some feature more high utility players.

So really, how much is Jaylen sacrificing vs others in the league?

If he's really unhappy with his role here, he'll be unhappy with his role in just about any other team in the league. And if the role in his mind is a role where he does everything everytime, I guess he'll be happy playing in a team that goes nowhere.

I don't think Brown is unhappy here, I think this overblown. Just the same, I don't think this talk about sacrificing has much merit. Everyone in the league sacrifices, and I don't think Brown sacrifices much at all vs others in the league.

This is the same stuff we've seen near every offseason for the last 6-8 years.

-Brown is unhappy
-Brown wants to be the #1 guy
-Brown and Tatum don't fit together

ect, ect ect.

Its literally the same stuff every offseason.

Look, maybe eventually they'll trade Brown (or even Tatum for that matter). But until I actually see it nothing that's happened this offseason is making me think Brown wont be back next year.

So far we've had Brown say he wants to be here for the net 10 years and Stevens say Brown has been nothing but positive. All the noise is, as usual, coming from people who simply do not know anything.

I mean we just saw him have his best season numbers wise of his career in year 10. It's pretty obvious that if he was the #1 guy he could probably put up bigger numbers then he would as the #2 guy. THAT IS A SACRIFICE. Now, if he was the #1 guy he probably wouldn't win as he has s the #2 guy, so you can argue it's a good trade off, and maybe it is. But it's not an unreasonable thought to have.
