I would say to fire Mazzula, but Tatum and Brown have been doing this before Joe even showed up. Too much hero ball. Too many low-energy efforts, especially at home.

Might be time to blow it all up.

Mobley is a tertiary scorer, but he is far more efficient, has a better assist to turnover ratio, etc.  He'd be a better fit next to Tatum on offense and is a much better defensive player at a position of need.  He is also 5 years younger extending the window a fair amount.

Cleveland wouldn't make that trade so it is a moot discussion.

Position of need? Do you mean center? Do you see Mobley as a center moving forward? Or are you moving Tatum back to SF and keeping Mobley at PF?
With no Brown, Tatum is the SF in the starting lineup with Mobley and Queta.   Mobley would play a fair amount at center though and he'd be fine there against most teams.  Mobley will get stronger and fill out more as ge ages and eventually would be a full time center.

Mobley is not a center. Embiid would eat him alive. Giannis can guard him, though.

It's going to change-C's have young players that will be better now that they have a year of experience.

If you look at what the Celtics put on the court compared to the 76ers, Philly has much more talent. Maxey was the best player in the series. Then you have Embiid getting back into form. PG13 played very well. VJ is going to be a really good player.

Brad has a lot of work to do. They need Giannis, they need vets. This team has too many inexperienced players on the bench and just not enough talent. They lost Jrue, KP and Kornet and replaced them with Scrubs. Vooch was a disaster, similar to when they brought Fournier in.

Sixers defense can be exploited. Make Embiid move out in space. But that requires composure and smart passing, which we lack.

There's no excuse dropping three games at home to this club.

Id be fine with a rebuild. It wont happen but id be fine with it. It seems like the Jays era is over without much flexibility to improve the roster around them.

Were we better off just tanking after starting the season 0-3?  :P

This team isn't really a good team.

We have no bench.

We lost more than half our roster from last season and we lost last year when we had more of a full roster. We should have been adding to last year's roster - but we could not financially afford to add.s

A couple those open shots go in - near the end of the 4th quarter and we still aren't a good team against the Knicks

I mean, 100% if we are treating this as a bridge year. The pick from the draft could have been incredibly valuable.

Yes. Wasted chance to get better in the long run.

The new CBA screwed us for sure. We set up a potential dynasty with the Vrooklyn trade, then Hayward snaps his leg. Brad makes a miraculous recovery with the Jrue trade but then dismantles the team shortly thereafter.

And now it feels like we're stuck.

Couldn?t agree more. Philly?s issue is not staying healthy. When healthy they are better than Boston, and they were after game 2.

I think Giannis is on the table. I really do. This team needs a change. White is on the block too. He still has value. Houston and Golden St would pay a premium for his services. He will be 32 when next season starts.

Didn?t realize DW is just 32. He should be in his prime!

I love White. He?s my favorite player and I?d be thrilled if he retires as a Celtic.

But he?s past his prime. If we were going to trade him, last summer would have been the time to do so. His contract is $30m+ for the next three years and will be quite the albatross.
