I think Cade being ruled eligible means JB loses what is most likely his last opportunity for 1st Team All NBA.

Third Team
Murray
Brunson
Chet
Durant
Jalen Johnson


I think Avdija, KAT and Castle are also candidates -  Maybe in the future, there could be an all star game of featuring Team Jaylen/Jalen, Team Duke, and Team Kentucky.

Think I?d move Brunson to 2nd team and Duran to 3rd. Booker over Chet. Other than that, I agree.

Brunson gets a ton of help from the refs to ensure NYC thinks it has a star.  6 FTA a game and a lot of them are phantom fouls.

Apparently Booker played 64 games. So I guess not lol. I?d put LaMelo Ball in over Chet.

I can't help but wonder if Detroit's late season success while Cade was hurt will hurt his 1st team All-NBA chances and allow Jaylen to get 1st team.

The thinking for some voters being that Jaylen might have had a slightly better statistical year, plays better defense and elevated his team more. That last part being highlighted by the fact that Cade went down for a long stretch and Detroit played amazing in his absence.

I agree with this ballot.  I feel Brown deserves it over Cunningham.  I could be biased, I admit, but I think Brown should get it.

If anything, I would bump Cunningham up and bump Wembanyama down.  Games and minutes matter.  You could argue any combination of these players.  But I feel that Brown and Cunningham carried their teams more than Wembanyama did.
