With the Bucks potentially trading Giannis, is Milwaukee going to blow it up? Would the Celtics be interested in Turner?

He seems to be having an up and down season but still shoots threes well, blocks and defends.....doesn't rebound well for a big though. Him being 29 fits Tatum/Brown timeline and his salary isn't a total killer at 25mil.

Simons + picks ( their 2nd round pick + a future 1st?) or Bucks want more?

His rebounding is terrible for a man his size.

Can?t stand him. Pop had Jaylen playing center in place of Turner ?cuz he sucked that bad . One of the guys I never believed we had interest in despite persistent rumors. Lazy player. Picks when he wants to give a good effort.

There's a lot of truth here, and I know he hasn't impressed the Bucks (allegedly).  But, if we could get him for only Simons plus 2026 draft picks (our first and/or NOP #2 and/or MIL #2), I think I'd do it.  He'd be a good fit for what Joe wants out of a center, and we'd still be well below the second apron for next year.

if he's having that much of an up and down year with questions around his effort, would we even need to give Mil picks?  I know that's what they'd want more than Simons but no one's questioning Simons effort and he's playing well

I'm not sure what the asking price would be.  They sort of blew up their salary cap by waiving Lillard to acquire him, so maybe just for public relations they need a pick or two to cover their butts.  Plus, when motivated, Turner is a better player and gives us better positional versatility.

But, a pure salary dump wouldn't surprise me, either.
