The guy looks really p---ed. I hope the Celtics reporters pull out the video receipts and place the NBA on notice. I only caught the latter part of the fourth so I?m not sure if JB was correct in saying this. But 4 freethrows in one game is certainly weird.

Brown is not wrong. How does an aggressive offensive player like him get ZERO free throw attempts in a game like tonite ?

At the same time, Brown has had 16 turnovers in the past 3 games.
Many fans mistakenly suggest that he needs to improve his ball handling skills.
He is actually quite skilled with the ball. It is where and what he attempts to dribble or penetrate through that causes the turnovers.
Curly Neal couldn't dribble through 3 defenders at once the way Brown tries to do.

Some of that is flukey as the Celtics weere called for only 5 more fouls at 18 to 13.  Still a discrepancy but shouldn't be 16 more foul shots.

2 shooting fouls the whole game isn't right....Cs were screwed last night, especially JB.

This is exactly what JB should have done.  He should never have 0 FT attempts for an entire game.  He's one of the most physical and aggressive players in the league.  The refs yesterday were trash and deserve to be called out accordingly.

From Yahoo. Brown was also blocked by Victor on 2 of his 4 shot attempts at the rim.

The Spurs allow the lowest percentage of free throws to shot attempts in the league, and the second lowest number of allowed free throws a game at 21.3 call it the Victor Wembanyama effect. With the best rim protector in the league in the paint (and a solid defender in Luke Kornett there when he's not), teams tend to pull up more and shoot further out. Brown was no exception, he had four shots inside four feet (make that six feet and he was 3-of-6 shooting) while he took nine shots between four and 14 feet.

The refs were horrible.  I remember one spot in the 2nd half where dwhite slightly bumped a spur.  It was probably a foul but worse have been let go.  He got the foul called on him.  then on the inbounds he got virtually runover at mid court and nothing.  With a player like JB statistically he should never shoot less then 8FT a game.  He is every bit as physical as All of the top FT attempt shooters in the NBA.  He just doesn't flop like they do

Luka Doncic - 12 FTA
Denvi Adija - 9.9 FTA
Shai - 9.2 FTA
Harden - 8.6 FTA
Devin Booker - 8.2 FTA
Jimmy Butler - 7.8 FTA
Paolo Banchero - 7.7 FTA

Jaylen is 11th at 7.2 FTA.  This is so low.  I think JB is the most physical win in the NBA and should be over 9 per game at minimum.  I'm getting fed up and it's not even me playing.

TP for the stats.  As good as Luka is, he shouldn't have 5 more FTA per game than Brown.  The refs reward him for his incessant whining.  It's pathetic.

Same thing with SGA.  Brown is far more physical than he is.

Another way to look at it is that the Celtics were called for 38% more fouls than the Spurs.
