The challenge I see with Scheierman + Hugo + Hauser + Walsh is that they are competing for a finite amount of wing minutes. Couple that with the fact that there are overlapping skillsets among some and the Jays will both be back at some point, and it feels like something's gotta give!

All are either already or could potentially become NBA guys.

So I'm hoping Brad can get some return value for the ones who there's no space for.

Could be a problem, but that's also the strength of the Thunder team - Shai, Jay-will, Caruso, Dort, Wallace - the multiplied their strengths and they were the better for it.

The real question is whether or not those players are able to grow into their potential.

Walsh is winning that competition with defensive versatility.

Walsh has really stepped up his defensive game while Scheierman has been playing decent defense and his shooting is pretty [dang] good...fg% - 57.9% and 3pt% - 50%.

I am impressed with all 3; Scheierman, Walsh and Gonzalez.  They are all making the best of this opportunity.  They are all exceeding what I expected from them.  The big difference is that Scheierman is 25, where as Walsh is 21 and Hugo only 19.  I would have Scheierman behind both, meaning I would cut Scheierman first, if someone had to go.

Not sure I would go as far as saying Scheierman is a wasted pick though.  I guess I am not sure what that means.  He hasn't panned out and likely won't moving forward (he probably is not on the team next season would be my guess).  If anything short of becoming a rotation player is considered a wasted pick, I guess he is.  But by that definition, there are a bunch of wasted picks every season by plenty of teams.  I don't think Scheierman is the worst pick in that draft's first round.
