Either Embiid is hurt or he's just checked out with life lol

...Did Sam Hauser just bank in a corner three?

What a run!  White found his shot.

It's really odd to see Embiid look so disinterested and pedestrian out there.  Like he's just running through the motions.  Not playing hard.

I thought he rattled it in.

It did bank in.  Pure shooters get that kind of bounce.

I might be imagining things.  Was gonna say, I wasn't sure that was even possible, lol.

EDIT:  He DID bank it in!  Wild.

I expect the Celtics to take a beating in the paint tonight with Embiid. Cs just have no one that can defend him.
if Embiid actually does play, I'd be surprised if he doesn't put up 40 points and 20 rebounds tonight.

Big surprise.....

Started the 2nd half 3-6 from 3 and take the lead. Shocker!

Wouldn't mind seeing JB post Maxey when they get crossmatched.

I'm stunned - happily so.

seems like he's just out there to collect a paycheck but no real interest in playing

How is that different from Embiid any other time?

The skill and size has always been there for Embiid, but to me intangibles have always been Embiid's biggest weakness.  He's always looked half assed any time he's on the court - slow/immobile physically, slow/low IQ mentally, always looks out of shape, and his motor to me has always looked questionable.

How many times have you seen Embiid dive for a loose ball, sprint back on defence, or make any kind of effort to energize the crowd?  I feel like he knows he's bigger and more skilled then everybody out there and thinks he can just cruise by on that.

Embiid is just plodding along out there. Maxey might ask to be traded if Philly?s season goes awry. He?s in his prime.
