Harden has played in 7 Game 7s

* OKC = 17pts 4reb 3ast in 31min vs MEM

3 for Houston

* 31pts 7reb 8ast in 43min vs LAC in 2015. He shot 7-20 FGA for 35% but was 16-18 FTA to make his overall scoring okay. 2 for 7 on threes.
* 32pts 6reb 6ast in 43min vs GSW in 2018. 12-29 FGA and 6-8 FTA. Only 2-13 on threes.
* 17pts 3reb 9ast in 37min vs OKC in 2020. 4-15 FGA but 8-9 FTA to improve things some. Only 1-9 on threes.

Journeyman era

* BKN = 22pts 9reb 9ast in 53min. 5-17 FGA but 10-10 FTs. Only 2-12 3PT.
* PHI = 9pts 6reb 7ast in 41min vs BOS. 3-11 FGA including 1-5 on threes. Only 2-2 FTAs.
* LAC = 7pts 5reb 13ast in 35min vs DEN. 2-8 FGA including 1-4 on threes. 2-2 FTs.

The only game he shot well from 3 was his first one for OKC when he was 4-8 from three. Other than that game, Harden is 9 for 50. 18% 3PT in his last 6 game 7s.

This would be a bad day.

DET took care of business.
CLE taking care of business now.
NYK took care of business in 6.

Only BOS failed to do their job.

It's unfortunate. I was pulling for Toronto in this series.

Tied at halftime. Cavs up 9 after 4+min when E Mobley gets into foul trouble. Cavs have doubled their lead without E Mobley to 18pts.

That 4th foul for S Barnes a minute later took away TOR's advantage with E Mobley on the bench. I don't like TOR taking S Barnes out though. They can't afford to do that. They were already in trouble. CLE were building a lead. Already without B Ingram and Quickley. They need S Barnes on the floor. Play him. If he fouls out, he fouls out.

Well, they didn't keep S Barnes out too long. Game was getting away from them (9pt lead to 13pts). Coach brought him back. Did not change anything. Cavs run continued. Up 21pts now (early Q4).

J Allen doing what he is supposed to do against TOR's small ball lineup = dominate the paint defensively & control the backboards.

21pts 16reb (9 def 7 off) 2blk.

CLE killing TOR on the boards. J Allen has more off rebounds by himself than TOR does as a team. TOR 6 off boards. CLE has 17 offensive rebounds compared to 20 defensive boards for TOR. They are pulling down almost 50% of their missed shots.

Whereas on the other end, TOR have 6 off boards against 35 def boards meaning CLE is keeping about 85% of the Raptors misses. Dominating TOR on the boards on both ends of the court.

That is the game right there = rebounding.

RJ Barrett is 6-20 FGA.

He was 4-11 FGA earlier. That was late in the first half. So only 2-9 since (mostly 2nd half). Bad time to have an off-game. TOR can't afford him to have an off-game without B Ingram & Quickley. Essentially down 3 of their top 4 scorers with RJ Barrett missing in action.

NYK vs PHI
DET vs CLE

Hmm .... they could be good series.

NY and Philly played each other 2 years ago before NY got Towns & M Bridges. That was a good matchup back then. DET and CLE are the 2 top teams in the East remaining in my opinion. So that is the unofficialy ECF for me.

What in the Tobias Harris is going on with Tobias Harris? Boston could've used this guy...seems like he revived his career in Detroit after leaving Philly.

In the first round, LeBron ranked

15th in points per game with 23.2ppg
3rd in assists per game with 8.3apg
25th in rebounds per game with 7.2rpg

That is pretty darn impressive at 41 years old.

Against a woeful Rockets team. Let's see if that holds on against a real team like OKC

why wouldn't it? Per minute that is basically what he averaged all season.

Per 36
Regular  22.7/7.8/6.6
Playoffs 21.6/7.8/6.7

Nearly identical.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It is even more impressive because you omitted he shot 43% from the field, and 30% from the field and 4 TO per game.

He still has amazing production, for a man his age, but is not very efficient as he used to be.  He also got 7.7 FTAs a game to boost his stats.
