Hornets are up on the 76ers, 106-57.

Charlotte started the season with just 4 wins in their opening 18 games. Since then, since late Nov, Charlotte has 15 wins vs 14 losses.

Basically .500 ball for the last 2 months.

Clippers are on one heck of a run. They started the season with only 6 wins in their first 27 games. Since then, since Dec 21, the Clippers have gone on a huge run winning 15 out of 18 games (BOS, NY, CHI got them).

They are now back in position for a play-in spot.

Dallas and Memphis are failing to put together a strong challenge for that final play-in spot. GSW lost Jimmy Butler and will likely drop back to a .500 team or worse. So they will drop down if not drop out of the play-in altogether.

LAC look a good bet to stay in that play-in slot. Portland too. Phoenix, POR, LAC look to be 3 of the 4 play in teams. GSW have the head start over DAL and MEM for the final spot. Anyway, good chance LAC gets through those play-ins to the playoffs. I like Portland over Phoenix as well. So I hope POR and LAC win the play-ins and complete the playoff picture in the West.

The Knicks are showing interest in Jrue Holiday

Rumbles that the Knicks have explored pathways to try to acquire Portland's Jrue Holiday.

There are at least two clear reasons why New York would have interest in a player who helped both Milwaukee and Boston win championships this decade: 1) The presumption that acquiring Holiday, if there's a way, would make the Knicks an even more attractive destination to Holiday's former Bucks teammate Antetokounmpo; 2) New York is believed to hold a longstanding fondness for Holiday as a potential backcourt complement to Jalen Brunson.
