Mathurin back for Indiana.
That eases the pain of losing Nesmith. Indy started Mathurin and Nembhard in the backcourt. A big forward rotation of Jarace Walker and Siakam. I'd like to see them go a bit smaller now that Mathurin has returned.
G: McConnell, Monte Morris
G: Nembhard
F: Ben Sheppard, Mathurin
F: Siakam, J Walker
C: I Jackson, Jay Huff, Tony Bradley
I'd like to get another ball-mover into that starting group. McConnell and Nembhard will generate more team offense. Let Mathurin come in off the bench and be more of scorer. Use Monte Morris more as a backup guard in order to ease the strain on the backup SG / SF / PF positions due to inuries.
I like Jarace Walker as a bench PF. I wouldn't start him at forward alongside Siakam. Indy needs more pace & space in their offense. That means playing smaller. If they start Sheppard instead of J Walker, that means they have no rotation capable wing off their bench. Putting an extra PG in there (McConnell) and using Nembhard as an off-guard helps better balance the lineup.
