Deni Avdija's growth last 4 years

* 26.6mpg 9.2ppg 6.4rpg 2.8apg 53.5% TS
* 30mpg 14.7ppg 7.2rpg 3.8apg 59.7% TS
* 30mpg 16.9ppg 7.3rpg 3.9apg 60.5% TS
* 34mpg 26.0ppg 6.5rpg 4.8apg 63.5% TS

Phenomenal growth in years 3-6.

Avdija is having a sensational season for Portland. Not getting the limelight he deserves. On track for an All-Star campaign. POR have a good chance at a playoff spot this year too.
bet Wash wish they held on to him at this point

That's a big blow to the Spurs.

Honestly it looked so much worse, so 6 weeks for a sprain is relatively good news for him.

If Donovan Mitchell was 6?6 he?d be a top 5 player in the NBA.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

NBA Injuries starting to pile up a bit. Banchero and Brunson currently out. Wembanyama out for a few weeks with a calf strain. Giannis leaves game with a groin strain. Anunoby expected to miss at least 2 weeks. Denver's Braun out at least 6 weeks.

Mathurin back for Indiana.

That eases the pain of losing Nesmith. Indy started Mathurin and Nembhard in the backcourt. A big forward rotation of Jarace Walker and Siakam. I'd like to see them go a bit smaller now that Mathurin has returned.

G: McConnell, Monte Morris
G: Nembhard
F: Ben Sheppard, Mathurin
F: Siakam, J Walker
C: I Jackson, Jay Huff, Tony Bradley

I'd like to get another ball-mover into that starting group. McConnell and Nembhard will generate more team offense. Let Mathurin come in off the bench and be more of scorer. Use Monte Morris more as a backup guard in order to ease the strain on the backup SG / SF / PF positions due to inuries.

I like Jarace Walker as a bench PF. I wouldn't start him at forward alongside Siakam. Indy needs more pace & space in their offense. That means playing smaller. If they start Sheppard instead of J Walker, that means they have no rotation capable wing off their bench. Putting an extra PG in there (McConnell) and using Nembhard as an off-guard helps better balance the lineup.

Think this may be the norm for him with his height
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Julius Randle's numbers this season are exceptional

24.5ppg 7.3rpg 6.1apg 1.3spg
52% FG 37.7% 3PT 85.3% FT 63.8% TS
5 threes per game. 7 FTs per game.

Only 2.5 turnovers per game. Those turnovers are tiny compared to the scoring & assist output.
