I wouldn't trade the 26 pick, but any other is fine. And I'd do that easily without a 2nd thought. Zion is less healthy than Embiid, but when he plays he is REALLY REALLY good. Efficient skilled, and everything you'd want a PF to be (well not everything, as he is a poor defender). He is the right kind of gamble to take.
Just curious, why do you want to hold onto the 2026 pick?
I am assuming that with Tatum out, this pick is expected to be much better than would be expected for a pick in 2027 and beyond.
yes. Unless Zion played most of the season I'd expect Boston to be in the lottery this year so I wouldn't want to trade the pick, but I'd probably do 2, maybe 3 future picks. I wonder if Boston could get Missi as well with that 3rd pick and maybe Scheierman
So
Simons, Tillman, Hauser, Scheuerman, 27 1st, 29 1st, 31 1st
for
Zion, Missi
Boston (with Tatum in 26-27)
White, Brown, Tatum, Zion, Missi
PP, 26 1st, Queta, Minott, Garza, Boucher, Walsh
A contender next year if Tatum mostly recovers and especially if that 26 pick is a high lotto pick. Even with Zion having a huge health question mark.
