This along with the Diggs news has put a damper on my glee from Sunday's performance.

The incident allegedly happened in August.  Any idea why it took four months to file charges?

Apparently, there are photos of the bruises.   Barmore might be in some real deep crap here.

Yeah, he's more likely to go on the exempt list. I don't think Diggs will.

But honestly like Roy said, I just find the timing a bit weird. This happened 5 months ago, and now charges are being pressed when players are getting bonuses/incentives and right before the playoffs? Diggs and Barmore are represented by the same lawyer too. Barmore got charged the day after Diggs did. Weird.

?Regarding both the Diggs and Barmore matters which are under review of the Personal Conduct Policy:

?There is no change to the status of Diggs or Barmore. Both are eligible to play at this time.

?Pursuant to the Personal Conduct Policy (attached), consideration for placement on the Commissioner Exempt List may be considered following formal charges in the form of an indictment by a grand jury, the filing of charges by a prosecutor, or an arraignment in a criminal court.?

Watch Sunday morning they both suddenly become banned from playing/placed on exempt list until their cases are settled. The NFL wants parity and drama? Why don't the Pats just rest the starters and throw the white flag to Miami. Give them the 3 seed idc lol

As for Barmore, if he is indeed found guilty of his actions then the team needs to cut him immediately. No room for these type of conduct.

So much for having Barmore (and possibly Diggs) be part of the Pats' building core for the future though.

Yeah it does I guess. I had been thinking that the team is a high character team - which for the most part I think it is.  I guess these things happen as we?ve seen in the past - we did have a murderer on the team at one point.  Not to minimize these accusations, both seriously bad if true. I?d be glad if both were exempt on Sunday - future decision made before their first playoff game.

Wonder if Barmores tirade at the end of the half may have had some connection to stress related to the charges that he may have known were about to surface.

Oh man the reporters were hilarious today. Christian Barmore's first day taking interviews since his allegations.

The reporters were trying to pry him for an answer about his allegations, but Barmore does his best Belichick imitation repeatedly "I'm focused on Miami, and playing football"

Then the reporter made a switcheroo with the question "What are you doing specifically this week?" and Barmore responds "Going to practice. Playing football."

Finally somebody changes the question about him threatening his cousin to jump someone and he's like "I'm focused on Miami and playing football"

That was a "We're onto Cincinnati" type response.  ;D

I respect it. Personally Diggs, Barmore and even Maye answered everything as well as possible given the circumstances and ongoing cases. The one I found a bit weird was Vrabel saying he was "not disappointed at all" about the allegations. Yes he supports the players along the way and acknowledges it's ongoing, but does he know something we don't? I felt Vrabel should have pulled a Belichick and just said the team released a statement, the cases and investigations are ongoing and that's it, on to Miami and talking football.

Like I get what Vrabel means, I just don't know if that was the best response to the media. In fact people online are also a bit ticked Vrabel said that, but then again they could just be vicious Pats haters lol. But you can't deny the allegations are still serious and it's best to say nothing and let the legal process play out.
