Bummer about Hollins.  That one didn?t seem to be on the radar.

Let?s get that Division Title back today!  Then hope the Chargers can help us out next week.

I am OK with not getting the bye.  It would be nice, especially in light of injuries.  Right now, if we are the 2 seed, we probably get LAC at home, then either JAX or HOU.  If we get the bye, it is probably the first game vs. BUF.  Is our best chance at a playoff win vs. LAC?  BUF, HOU, and JAX all look tough but if the Pats don't make mistakes or fall asleep in the second half, they can be right there with anyone I guess.

So win the 1 seed and the AFC championship game is in Foxboro instead of Denver.  That is a pretty big advantage swing.  But only if DEN wins through, and there is no guarantee of that.  Even with some big names out of it, there are still some tough teams to get through in the AFC.

Here are the current odds for AFC Championship.  I am not sure I fear DEN anymore than BUF, JAX, our HOU.  They are all going to be tough outs for the Pats or anyone.  LAC by these odds are well back.

Broncos       +350
Patriots        +400
Bills             +425
Jaguars        +560
Texans         +560
Chargers     +1100
Steelers      +1700
Ravens        +3000
