Just saw the Jules/Gronk podcast and their reaction to Sunday Night's Patriots win. Can definitely tell they're big fans of their former team and definitely respect their analyses. Miss the great 'ol Patriot days.

They're right when they mentioned that Maye's been flushing out to the right a lot. The Bills were catching on to it and started pressuring Maye in the 4th quarter. Teams are going to start game-planning/flanking him to his right. Hope Josh McDaniels can start designing some plays and adapt for Maye to get him moving to the left.

And how about a shoutout to the special teams unit: Andy being perfect with his kicks, Baringer with solid punts, Marcus Jones being versatile...man, it's been a while since ST had lights out performance.

Good win in a "taking care of business" sort of way. It wasn't pretty but they don't all need to be.

Maye looks like he's continuing to improve. Good pocket presence and no turnovers.

We need to be able to run the ball better!

250+ yards with a 70%+ complete percentage and a few clutch scrambles is becoming the normal for Drake Maye. Only 23 years old and already this good.

Its a good thing too because the Patriots run game is nonexistent. Stevenson literally average 1.5 yards a carry this game.

4-2 now and the Ravens are 1-5. Wild.

The Chiefs may wrap up tonight being 2-4

First down runs for little or negative yards were agonizing. But Maye is something else. Boutte is fantastic. Really glad for him getting more targets.

I will say, it's cool to me Vrabel seems fine letting Maye throw the ball on 3rd downs late in these games to truly ice it instead of eating clock and settling for a punt. Stuff that usually is reserved for the elite of the elites like Josh Allen, Burrow, Mahomes, Brady, etc. And Maye has earned it. Mostly made good throws or good decisions in those spots. I love the aggressiveness too. Go win it instead of playing scared and not to lose.

Beggars can't be choosers. I still think we blew the Steelers game and really should be 5-1, but whatever. Already reached our win total from each of the last two seasons. And honestly, looking at this schedule I don't see why the Pats can't go 7-4 the rest of the way. That'd put them at 11-6 and firmly in a playoff spot IMO. Or even 6-5, to finish 10-7 and probably still get in.

I only really see 3 tough games. Bills, Ravens, Buccaneers, but even the Ravens game may not be as bad because they could be out of it by then and that team is also dealing with injuries even besides Lamar. Bengals don't have Burrow. Falcons could be tricky, and there may be a trap game/unexpected loss mixed in but still, 10-11 wins is absolutely on the table. The Browns IMO could be a trap game given their elite defense, but next week vs. TEN should not be bad at all.

Remind these trash teams that they have to tank, so they'll give up  ;)
