I think the better question would be, why didn't Harbough and Stefanski wait to see if the Buffalo job opened up? Are they more concerned about their salary than winning?

 Why would they fire their head coach in the middle of the playoffs while the team was still alive?

Also, I can?t imagine, with the way hiring cycles work, that Harbaugh & Stefanksi are going to sit around waiting for the off chance that the Bills are eliminated early and that the organization may fire McDermott on top of that, especially if they want to coach in ?26.

I'm more surprised Beane not only gets to stay, but got promoted. The roster is an issue and so is their cap situation and he's a huge reason for it lol.

With so many head coach openings this year I think there's quite a few coordinator-types or candidates who could still end up getting HC gigs. I mean those teams do need to fill the spots lol. So Mike McDaniels, Daboll, etc. could even get HC consideration immediately again

for some reason I thought those coach decisions came out on Sunday, but looks like it was late Saturday around the time the Bills were losing.  So yeah timing was off on my end.

Interesting.  I was intrigued by the thought of him coaching Lamar.  I think Lamar would be able to do what McDaniel was hired to do with Tua.  Tua just wasn't good (or healthy) enough to do it.

Yeah to me, McDaniel with the Bills or Ravens made a lot of sense with their QBs too (if they hired or had a good DC to complement them).

I'm assuming the top names currently are Flores and Daboll. Flores feels like a perfect Steelers and if they can get a great OC.

Is anyone listening to this Bills press conference? I can post all the quotes later today but man it's WILD. Especially the Keion Coleman comments (who btw, is still on their team). Terry Pegula is looking like a clown throughout this and he's even lied about certain things as some people have fact-checked him on Twitter.
