Celtics did not come out this half with the energy and focus needed. They look pretty bad.

They have nobody who can create offense reliably. Nothing to go-to. Even worse since the starters went to the bench.

Sorry, I mean to say. I don't think it is effort. Looks more skill related to me.

Shugla will spend a lot of time in Maine. He's not close to being a NBA player.

I agree with this. Early in the game, he handled the pressure well, but hasn't done as well in this third quarter.

Hopefully, this is just a bad game for Shulga. Otherwise, his chances do not look good. Not justifying a two-way contract at this point.

The shots Scheierman is having to take are terrible. Can't create space for himself. Looks better playing off of others rather than creating for himself.

How do two-ways work? Could we sign Bassey or Lofton Jr. to a two-way instead? They've already been on regular contracts in the NBA.

Great ball-movement and good pass from Hugo to set up the big man for the dunk.

Just turned it on. Quick look at the box score isnt super encouring but who has looked good?

Another good setup from Hugo. Lofton just barely missed the and-1.

Hugo has looked good on both sides of the ball. Normal 19 year old mistakes, but has made 2 threes and played good defense.

Lofton the other story. Big boy, fun to watch, good rebounder.

Everyone else has been fine. Shulga is the main disappointment.

Not 100% but I believe you can sign former NBA guys to two-ways also.

Oh wow, Bassey is quick. He explodes to the rim on those high rolls to the basket.

Scheierman looks horrible. If I knew nothing about him and you told me he was an NBA player, I wouldn't believe you.

I agree. I think he's missed some shots he makes today, but he's not a primary creator I don't think. There may be something there in secondary actions off of other players.

Edit: Just checked the box score. Baylor only has 12 shots. Felt like 25.

Hugo Gonzalez reminds me a touch of Dan Majerle. Similar size. Similar frame. Similar quickness. Aggressive defense like Majerle. Drives the ball.

Majerle did not start shooting the 3 until a couple of years into his NBA career. He was more of a slasher in his first few years. A 6MoY candidate and All-Defense member. Then added the three point shot and became a top 10 SF in the league. An All-Star 3 times.

Ohh, that was a nice lobbed pass to Lofton by H Gonzalez. I am impressed by the ball-handling and the passing of Gonzalez.

He was handling the ball against Cam Spencer too. Tough aggressive defensive guard. Physical menace of a player. I remember commentaors in a playoff game saying he was a former football player and played basketball like it!
