HOU is rumored to be looking to trade for more win-now players after trading for KD.

Would BOS-HOU be interested in something like Hauser + some 2nds for Whitmore?

Saves Celtics some money and gets a guy who many (including myself) are very high on.

Gets Houston a win now shooter who has proved he can be a rotational piece on a contending team.

If things shake out the way I think, the rest of the roster would be:

Simons / Pritchard
White / Scheierman / Gonzalez
Brown / Walsh
Whitmore / Niang
Horford / Kornet / Queta

Not a title team by any means, but a team I would enjoy watching with tempered expectations.

Thoughts?

Id rather trade them Brown and get Thompson, Sheppard, Smith, etc.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I don't know why they'd trade Whitmore for Hauser but I'd sure do it.  It would offset Brad's idiotic trade down in the 2nd to acquire more 2nds.

Sign me up for that deal.  Nice young wing to develop.  I'd rather do a Hauser and picks for Kessler deal if hes still on the block.

Not me.  Kessler is going to have to be paid after next season.  Whitmore has an extra cheap season.  Also Kessler can't shoot 3s whereas Whitmore can.

Why are people high on Cam Whitmore?

He has an attitude problem, is a complete black hole on offense, and doesn't compete on defense.

I get that he's a pretty good scorer, he's athletic, and hes 21, but theres a reason a Houston team that desperately needed scoring this year in the playoffs was giving him DNP Coaches Decisions. He's a bum.
