I wonder if this years 2nd round pick is destined to be offered a 2-way contract.  Then round out the roster with vets.  Something like this:

White       Pritchard       Davison
Simons     Scheierman   Walsh
Brown       Craig            Niang
Hauser      Tillman         Tatum (IL)
Kornet       Queta

2-way:  2025 2nd?, Niles Morris?, Peterson?

Fill in (3) 2-way contracts and rotate them through to have a full bench.  Send Hugo back to Spain.  Eventually trade Simons near or at the deadline to get below the tax.  Take a big in the 2026 lottery and see how Tatum looks when he gets back.

I know that Stevens said they want to sign Horford but it really does not make sense for either Horford or BOS.  The only reason either does it is for sentimental reasons.

Hugo is not going back to Spain. He will be on the roster come October.
Don't see it being a 2 way contract if it is Fleming or one of the bigs. Those guys are ready to play now.

Why not? He?s barely getting minutes in Spain. He?s clearly not ready for the NBA. It?s either Spain or Maine.

Not many players are ready for the NBA.  I'm sure he will be in Maine a lot to get PT.  Just like Baylor did.  Baylor and Walsh will get their chance in the rotation before Hugo.  I would say by the All-Star break we will start to see Hugo a lot more.

Hopefully JT can get him in touch with Drew Hanlen. Someone needs to teach him how to shoot.

It's crazy to consider Hugo was considered a top 5 prospect earlier in 2024 but he fell all the way to us at #28. What happened to his draft stock?!

He's playing on a veteran team and only got 10mpg.  Hard to evaluate based off of limited pt.

Let's go. I do this every time, but that's what a fan should do. I'm all-in on Hugo!!!!

Bethea didn't even come out this year (rightfully so, I don't know that he would have been a 1st rounder), so that makes Hugo the 4th best player out of this draft on the early projection. Who knew we were getting a top 5 pick this year?  :P

In all seriousness, I do love the idea of a boom or bust pick with one of our two picks. At the very least, he looks to be a fun player who is easy to root for.

Draft is a month out. Celtics have pick #28 and #32. I?m hoping for Tyrese Proctor, Cedric Coward, Caleb Love.

Who are your top 3 choices for the Cs?

One off the board. Tyrese Proctor or Caleb Love! Let?s get someone that can shoot!

I am really starting to doubt Brad Stevens and the draft. What a dumb ass move. 2 guys you need and you trade down to take 2 guys that will never play on your team

I?m fine with that trade if we didn?t like the options available right now.
