I?m adding Drake Powell to my list.
He's on my list too.

[dang] it! Off the board at 22. I?m hoping for Nique Clifford now.

[dang] it!!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

ESPN said one of the steals of the draft and hes coming over immediately.

Exactly.  His brother got drafted into the NBA, as expected.  He didn't get hit by a truck.

That's all this production cares about.  If they can find a sobbing relative, they'll spend 20 minutes on it at the expense of the event itself.

They're just drama peddlers.

I like this pick a lot.

6'6 with a 6'11 wingspan and an elite athlete. Has 3+D wing upside. Only 19 years old. His value will come down to how well he shoots from distance, but a lot of building blocks and is known for playing hard. Seems like an upside pick that probably isn't going to help a lot next year.

For what its worth ESPN had him ranked #22, Sam Vecenie had him ranked #24. So Picking him up at #28 seems like fine value.

Now hopefully one of Raynaud and Kalkbrenner falls to #32.

Actually, I do believe they will bring him over for summer league and then send him back to Europe after that. Career 27% from 3pt. Yeah, he?s not seeing the court with the C?s.

Hugo's game style looks a lot like White's. Might be a replacement two to four years down the line if he develops.

I defer to the scouts and experts on Gonzalez.  They seem to like him.

And, there are still some decent bigs on the board.  I'm hoping that Brad stays put.

Best three available are probably:

Noah Penda
Ryan Kalkbrenner
Maxime Raynaud

Celtics should be able to get one of those three at 32. At least one of the two centers will be available.

Listening to the game theory livestream both guys like the Hugo Gonzalez pick a lot for the Celtics.

A lot of guys who can't shoot out of the draft end up shooting just fine. If he was a 40% shooter he'd be a lottery pick, nobody you get at #28 is going to be perfect.
