I was going to say this is a dress rehearsal for next season but it is not. Porzingis will recover over the summer. He will give the team a reliable 2nd option to go alongside Jaylen. Then D White and Jrue can play in more comfortable 3rd and 4th option roles.

The team will be better next season than they have shown tonight.

I think that is 100% true.   We will be better next year than what we showed tonight.   I hope for his sake personally that KP gets through his illness no matter if he is here in Boston next year or not.   He is a good guy, get healthy.

as disgusting as this final effort has been in terms of leaving a bad taste in my mouth over the summer, what really sucks is knowing that Brad won't send Joe packing this summer.  he needs to be part of the housecleaning this offseason but he'll be back to ruin another season

Really want the Pacers to blow this team out next round

Knicks are better than people think?good enough to win the title? Meh probably not, but certainly good enough to beat an alright pacers team

Pacers are legit. This Knicks team is nothing. We made them look so much better than they are.

The Knicks have looked horrible in this series.

The only reason they are going through is because Boston played even worse.

This has not been an advert for good basketball. This has been consistent gross incompetence by both teams throughout this whole series. Abysmal basketball.

He definitely won't. Winning a championship probably gives you a bit of a longer rope, but even if he hadn't, I feel that Joe is Brad's kind of coach - they share a lot of the same philosophies and guiding principles.

KP will not get moved this offseason. It is going to be Al, Sam and Jrue gone.

JB
White
KP
??
??

Bench PP, Baylor, Q and probably Davidson. Combine this with whatever they can get back for Jrue and Hauser. Also the pick in the first round.

They will be a playoof team in a horrendous East.

Exactly, Indy beating the Cavs 4-1 was way more impressive. The Celts didn?t have Porzingis and then Tatum went down after they would still be down 3-1. But if Tatum was playing they wouldn?t be getting beat like this. This team mailed it in after winning at home the other night. They had zero aggression tonight and their offense went right back to lazy 3 point contest shooting. Celtics made it super easy on the Knicks tonight.

Oh no doubt. Everyone in the organization should be embarrassed.

Pacers in 5 or 6. Knicks are not good and the Pacers will wear them out like they did last season.

Don't let the Tatum injury fool anyone. They were down 2-0 and then 3-1 before it.

This series loss is on them. Only have themselves to blame.

Yes, thank you. I refuse to hear anything about the Tatum injury being the reason we lost this series

Well, we'll never know...

Never know what? I?m convinced they lose in 5 if Tatum doesn?t rupture his Achilles?that game 5 win was all about Celtics pride and role players stepping up

Of course you're convinced of that, because you're irrationally pessimistic. You were saying the same non-sense last year when we'd lose the rare game in the playoffs.

Brad isn't firing Joe, that is 100% for sure.  Unless Joe gets into some kind of Ime trouble.   But lets be clear, Joe hasn't really seemed to have an impact one way or another.   Our team's play isn't helped a lot by our head coach.

The Pacers were the team I most feared in the East. Great coach and tons of guys who play. Pacers are 11 deep.

Well, it's been real this series

I know it's a thrashing but TPs to everyone that stuck it out through the year! Giving it out early so I don't have to watch the Knicks celebrate  :police:

If the Celtics had a coach with half a brain they would have left Boston up 2-0 not down 0-2. Mazulla will get a pass because of Tatum?s injury. Isn?t Joe?s contract up after next season? Will he be  lame duck coach next year? Just let him go now then.
