To be fair, Celtics have had 20 point leads in each game. Knicks won both in Boston because Celtics shot themselves in the foot imo and went cold from three

If Celtics don?t shoot 25% from 3. And just stay at our season average we can win this series.

It wasn?t even the 3s that were encouraging yesterday. It was imo the defense and little plays

The way they were shooting in the first 2 games, they probably would have missed their foot.

Please Celtics. The path might not even be so bad after this. Indiana and then a non-OKC team?

Idk Phantom, I always worry when it comes to underestimating teams  ??? Like NYK was underestimated and they came and took 2 on our home court. Now we might be underestimating Indy. I always felt Indy had the advantage over the Cavs, because the Cavs have a lineup that can thrive in the regular season, they have 2 bigs and 2 high scoring guards, but Indy matches up really well against them (and us). They have lots of wings to throw at Mitchell and Garland and they have bigs to match up against Allen and Mobley. They can do the same to us. The way things are going I may have to skip watching every remaining game in the playoffs  :police:

This playoffs might be the equivalent of the 2018 and 2019 playoffs for OKC and Cavs...it's coming a bit early for them because they've played a lot better than they or anyone else expected in the regular season, which raised expectations.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Agree. It's one thing to lose in the ECF or Finals though, but to lose to NY with HCA in the 2nd round is just unacceptable. And could you imagine if we lose this series, but then CLE and OKC both get eliminated too? Those were the two teams I thought that would beat us going into the postseason. Sure, maybe IND/DEN/MIN beat us anyway, but I would favor us in a series with any of them. Would feel like a massive missed opportunity, at least get to the ECF and see what happens.

So...does JT's expected loss for the remainder of the series change anyone's thoughts on whether we can come back?

Call me crazy but I still think we can...but where before I thought we were definitely the better team and we would win in 7, now there's zero margin for error since we have to win 3 in a row and they only need to win 1. I think we're now the underdogs, especially with JT and Sam out and KP hobbled. But I don't think those guys in the locker room are moping like we are and saying "it's over". Eddie House was saying you gotta be a dawg and go out in a blaze of glory, and I think they will respond in Game 5. It's Game 6 that I'm really worried about now  :-\

So am I delusional?

Depends on that Tatum injury.

If it is a false alarm and he returns, I am still confident Boston can win this series.

If Tatum is out, this series is over.

I think there's a rally around the flag effect and the C's win game 5 but Knicks close it out in game 6.

Think they win game 5 and play hard but fall short in game 6
