I saw some folks wondering if Wemby's injury will lead to CP3 being bought out in the next few days so that he can join a contender as a backup PG since San Antonio is now out of the playoff picture.

Hope this is indeed an isolated incident that doesn't impact the kid's life or career. Blood clots are scary.

Right now they struggle whenever VanVleet isn't around.

Given the Spurs luck, I would not be surprised in the slightest if they tumble down the standings and win the draft lottery.Next season, they have Cooper Flagg lining up next to a healthy Wembanyama.FoxVassellCastleFlaggWembanyama

Spurs have clearly been the beneficiary of incredible lottery luck (and timing).
