Great win. We shot like crap, but we won it with our defense. That's the most engaged and energetic defense I've seen from this group for quite some time. Excellent statement win that we're still the class of the East. Now need to do it again on Saturday in New York.

I dont think i have seen KP miss soo many shots but he battled and got some free throws...even if hes missing his defender is going to push him because hes sooo tall.

Yeah KP missed shots he always makes.  Mobley complied on the other end.

These Celtics are amazing on the road.

Yeah I'm not complaining but it's very weird lol. Like... if we play a Game 7 are we better off in a hostile road environment or TD Garden?  :P

Looks like the Celtics will hang on. I don?t think either team played all that well.

Agreed, love the win but thought both teams were bad, Celtics got up 20 and could?ve/should?ve steamrolled them from there but they did everything they could to let a Cavs team not even playing well stay in the game

Did you really think the Cs would steamroll the Cavs once up 20?  I didn?t think that for a second.  Cavs were ice cold.  I wouldn?t have thought the Cavs would steamroll the Cs if they were up 20 early.  Good teams recover - most of the time.

No I didn?t think they would steamroll once up 20, pretty predictable that they wouldn?t, but they could?ve and should?ve?Cavs weren?t great tonight, but I?ll take the win, one of the best of the season.

How about 4th quarter White showing up big time.   6/12 from 3.

Road. This years team is way more likely to choke at home then lose on the road in a big game.

great win Celtics!!  DWhite cooking in the 4th.
Held on at the end.

Not sure why JB didn't go back in, maybe the lineup had a good flow?  Not sure.

Pick up a game on the Cavs!  TPs for everyone!

The lineup was doing well, but Horford can?t play that many consecutive minutes and he made a pretty bad TO at a crucial time. Left him in a little long.

Celtics are the Team to Beat in the East.

The Cavs are not the frontrunner. I don't care about their regular season record. They are not better than Boston.

Both teams were basically at full strength (unless if you think Okoro and Dean Wade are significant pieces). The C's shot poorly most of the game, Jaylen was in foul trouble and Scott Foster was on one. Despite that, they were actually up double digits for a good chunk of the 2nd half and came out with a nice road win.

That's a statement win. Cleveland may still be the team to beat in the East but I don't think they look as "invincible" as a few months ago.

Is JB hurt or something? I still don't understand this keeping him on the bench.

5 fouls.
Brown -9
PP  +18

Yeah, I thought Mazzula was just buying time in the 4-5 minute mark in Q4 (to bring Jaylen back) but Pritchard and Horford were playing well so Mazzula stuck with his bench guys. I liked the call. Trust the guys who are doing the business out there.

Agreed. The Cavs were clearly shooting over their head for a good portion to start the season, but they've started regressing back to the mean. They're also an awful matchup against us, as they have nobody to check the Jays or hide the two small guards on. In all three games we've played thus far, we've convincingly had the lead in every one late and just let down our guard enough to let them sneak the one win in Cleveland earlier in the year.

This may be a wake-up call to them where they spend a little extra for another wing, i.e. Cam Johnson type.

I was expecting to see a few say, ?Good win, but I?m still taking the Cav?s in a 7 game series.?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Fun win.  I worried that we were going to see the Sixers game in reverse.  Luckily White was huge.

Next up si Dallas at home. AD would probably be ready to play by then. I hope we win convincingly just to show Nico Harrison how dumb he is!
