Too much iso and no ball movement.

They're making it easy for the defense.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Do the players and coaches really, actually, truly, realistically think that those gawd-forsaken step-back, contested 3's off the dribble are going in often enough to justify their existence. Horrible offense and even worse defense. Celts look uninterested.

Giannis busting out the MMA moves.  Followed by another stupid 3 by one of our players.

God I hate that DWhite pull up three there.

Lots of worrying signs about our approach thus far this year.

So what does Joe do?  Draw up a 3.  A contested 3.  And of course we miss.

20 of 29 fg attempts have been threes so far, with at least half of them bad/rushed threes. Disgusting.

Followed up by another pull up transition three by JB  >:(

PP is the only Celtic that is playing well.  And even some of his shot selection isn't particularly good.  He just is feeling it right now.

I just don't get the reluctance to make a few passes before taking a shot.

PP kind of bailing us out of all these bad off possessions, and poor def.
probably don't deserve to be within 12 right now.

They often taken in order to open up opportunities in future possessions to (a) drive to the basket (b) drive and kick for an open stand still 3 (c) hit a rolling big man to the basket for an easy dunk.

They accept a certain number of low percentage possessions (step back 3s) in order to get more of those high percentage ones. Because defenders have to take the threat of a step back 3 seriously. You have to take enough to get them to commit to defend it.

Whether they are correct in this thinking or not ... that is the thought process.

All last year they talked about not skipping steps but they started this season doing just that. Horrible defense and lazy ball movement.

Or, we could maximize the incredible talent and versatility on our team by driving the the ball, making quick decisions, and playing inside out.

That Jrue three there is the nonsense we have to stop. Absolutely terrible three point attempt.
