Cavs exactly who we thought they were. 2015 Hawks.

These playoffs have been lit! It?s crazy that our choke job is just the third worst performance in the last two nights haha

What exactly has been worse then choking away a 20 point lead midway through the 3rd by bricking a record number of threes?

Not even close. 20 point leads nowadays can disappear instantly in today's NBA, let alone the final 17 minutes of a game (plenty of time). OKC and CLE just choked away 3+ possession games in the final 90 seconds, each of those teams had 6 point leads in the final minute. Both had boneheaded turnovers and missed FTs in the final 30 secs.

The pacers were absolutely awful in the clutch/winning moments last season and it really showed against us in the playoffs?not the case this playoff run, they?re also healthy and peaking at the right time, unlike Cavs

Phantom, I tried to tell you about those Cavs. They are built for the regular season!

They have been injured (Mobley, Hunter and Garland) but that's still a very bad loss for CLE. Mitchell had 48-9-5 at home and it didn't matter. Now down 2-0 with 3 of the next 5 at Indiana

Don?t get me wrong they?re all bad?but we played the dumbest basketball I?ve ever seen and beat ourselves..those other games were against great teams that took the games from the other team.

I don't disagree. But the thing is, Boston never had a 6+ point lead in the final minute of the 4th or OT like CLE and OKC did. Those two teams also beat themselves with bad FT shooting and turnovers when a few clean plays is all they needed. Btw, CLE had a 20 point lead before all this, and blew it. OKC also had a double digit lead yesterday. It's not like the entire game was neck and neck for both OKC and CLE. They could have just held a 15-20+ lead

They had a 7pt lead with 47 seconds left in the game. All those sleepless nights! ;D

Maybe it?s because I have no respect for the Knicks and do for the nuggets/pacers and am legitimately embarrassed by the amount of 3s the Celtics continued taking and bricking. All were bad.

He?s like a bigger more athletic Marcus Smart. Just proves that even lottery talents can take some time to develop.

I don?t think Mitchell can hold up. He can?t play big minutes. He looks gassed hands on hips a lot. And he was on the ground a ton. He?s not in the proper shape for along playoff run. I don?t think he?s gone past the first round before, is that right ?

Right but how is that the worst choke? They all were bad obviously since it was losses but I mean at least the C's actually went to OT. I actually think the worst one so far in this playoffs was that Bucks-Pacers one last round, especially since that one sent MIL home when it looked like they were gonna hold on in OT

The Cavs badly needed to win that game. I think they're cooked now.

Yeah, it?s going to be tough to win 4 of 5 with 3 in Indy, which will be rocking. And that assumes full health.

Stinks for Cleveland that health may give them another second round exit after that historic season. It?s also going to be another talking point if we end up repeating and not facing the Cavs. But I?ll take both Cleveland and OKC losing in the second round!

The Cavaliers are missing Mobley, Hunter and Garland so I won't give them the "mid-2010s Hawks" treatment. But they could be in trouble now. Down 2-0, 3 of the next 5 at Indiana which is super tough to play and Mitchell got 48-9-5 in a loss. Can't waste many of those performances. And for reference, the Pacers since the start of 2024 playoffs are 9-2 at home. Those 2 losses were against Boston. Tough task.
