I don't think Cleveland can come back from an 0-2 deficit. Even if they were suddenly healthy.

I thought this would be a 6 game series at the start. I don't see Cleveland being able to win 4 straight or 4 in 5. Indy are too dangerous. I can't see CLE coming back from this.

Depends on who is available too.  This is very cliche,  but they just need to focus of Game 3.  Win that and Game 4 stays relevant?etc
Yup

Yeah, I am not ready to count out CLE.  Many people had CLE beating IND in 5, even without Garland.  Now if they are going to win, they are going to have to do it in 5, in the 5 remaining games.  They will need Mobley for sure and probably Garland, Mitchell isn't going to able to do it all by himself.  But if not for kind of a miracle shot, they could have won last night just with Mitchell.

Cleveland is cooked. They have guys hurt and even if they play they won't be near good enough for game 3.

Mitchell has calf tightness in addition to the guys they have out.

Can't say I am surprised at this as I felt they were always built for the regular season and not the playoffs.

I felt like they took a risk and lost. They were hoping to win that game and let Garland and Mobley keep getting healthy ahead of a showdown with the Cs in the ECF.

According to Shams, it's a Grade 1 hamstring strain and Curry is out Game 2, but likely has to miss a minimum of one week. So even Games 3 and 4 likely in jeopardy

Yikes. They could be down 3-1 by the time Steph comes back.

Actually some new reports say he could probably have to remain out through Game 5.

Return in Game 6 possible/realistic but not before

Ty Jerome has been a dud in these 2 games. Not a good sign for his chances of stepping up into a starting PG for some team next season.

8-20 FGA in Gm 1
1-14 FGA in Gm 2

21pts 8ast in Gm 1 but lots of over-dribbling and bad decisions. Gm 2 his non-show cost them the game. If he had of contributed anything, they would have won.

He hasn't been able to bully the Pacers guards the way he has many reserve guards throughout the season.

To no one's surprise, OKC came out firing in the first quarter.

THIS IS HOW YOU COME OUT FIRING BOSTON.

To be fair, OKC is down 1-0 on their own choke and they also blew a double digit lead multiple times in Game 1  :P

Need another Denver miracle to make our loss not as bad.

40-16 OKC lead 1st quarter still.

This is the killer mindset Boston is lacking all year long nevermind blowing Game 1 entering Game 2.

Lol OKC is going to put up in the first half what we did all game. Pathetic.

And I'm pretty sure Denver is already down to 2 timeouts with 3 minutes left in the 2nd lol

I don't think anybody bothered watching OKC/DEN tonight, but, that was an example of how you should come out after losing Game 1.

They eviscerated the Nuggets. Finally, the favored team won in the Semi-Finals.

Is that info legit? Is it correct?

That is crazy.

Update: You can go to game logs and career playoffs on Basketball-Reference.com and see Harden's playoff career only. It is legit. He has had 55 games with under 5 baskets made.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/hardeja01/gamelog-playoffs/

Harden was a rookie in OKC and did not play much. So those games are not a surprise. His 2nd and 3rd seasons though Harden was a 6MOY candidate. Won it in his 3rd season. Averaged 12.8ppg and 16.2ppg in those two years. He averaged about the same in the playoffs and played 31mpg in those seasons. I don't think he has much excuse in those 2 years.

By my count, 27 total games with OKC. 6 games as a rookie and 21 games the following 2 years.

That means there are 28 games when Harden has ascended to true stardom. 11 games with Philly so late career Harden. 2 with Brooklyn. 3 with the Clippers. 11 with Houston when we had peak Harden. That is 27, I missed 1 game somewhere. Anyway, close enough.

This is crazy. He averaged those 16.2ppg in his 3rd season while making only 5 FGM per game. His 3s and FTs juiced his scoring that much. Averaged 7.5-10.8 FGM in Houston. 6.2 average for Philly. Averaged only 4.9 FGM last year in Clippers and back up to 6.7 this year. Man, he gets a lot of FTs.

Mindboggling!
