That?s a pretty adamant statement by Warriors when the series was on the line.

Overall though, outside of a few series like CLE-MIA and MEM-OKC, that was an AWESOME first round as a whole. Some close series, great contests, nice player battles, etc.

Houston has a very bright future ahead, but they absolutely need to add some scoring this offseason. Durant would be a perfect fit for them in the offseason.

They do not need just as scorer. They need a creator. A scorer & playmaker. VanVleet is their only playmaker. That is part of why they were so dreadful without him this season.

Limited passing team as well as a limited scoring team.

That was such a stupid foul by VanVleet. Just let him go and get the layup. Clear path foul. 2 FTs and possession. Then Jimmy scores on the possession. 4pts instead of 2pts.

Followed up by 2 threes by Steph and Buddy. Game over.

playing against a super young inexperienced team that can't hit the broadside of a barn.
I am not convinced that the Rockets are a great team in the future.   They were a good regular season team.
They had no offensive power whatsoever.

That said, every series that GS wins, makes me worry about them a little bit more.

I doubt that Minn wanted to see GS win this one.

Durant is old and isn?t the answer. They should trade for Giannis then another shooter - maybe houser

Houston are 33-83 FGA for 39.8%.

Udoka?s offense is awful. Jalen Green wasn?t even involved. He took 8 shots tonight.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I got Wolves in 7. Houston had HCA too, but the difference is Minnesota has more scoring than Houston and they also have more playoff experience than most of these HOU players outside of a few guys (FVV, Brooks). And I have to imagine MIN is still feeling a bit salty about losing to DAL in last year's WCF, I'm sure they want to get back. And unlike Houston, Minnesota has a clear cut alpha in Ant

I hope so, but it feels like they could get going and get on a run and make it to the finals.

Agreed. They have no top talent on their roster.

Amen Thompson has a chance but he also has a long way to go. His offensive game is basic.

Houston look more like a perennial 45-55 win team that goes out in first or second round. They got some work to do ahead of them to become a legit title contender.

Yeah at least part of not scoring 90 in a game 7 is about coaching.   Udoka has a share of that.

Warriors 3-1 on season series against Minnesota.

All 4 games were before Jimmy though + while Minny was struggling in first half of the season.

Don't think that 3-1 season series counts for anything.

Why ? Because they beat an inexperience team that couldn?t shoot 3?s and melted down in 2 games they should have won? Let?s see how those old guys bounce back. Don?t forget it?s every other day now. I?d bet they won?t hold up.
