Cavs should win the series but we can hope for a long one.

8th straight series where Donovan Mitchell has had 30+ points in the series opener. That ties him with Michael Jordan.

That is impressive. 8 straight series? Wow.

It may not be the smartest strategy, but I respect the Pacers continuing to play their game instead of slowing it down. They definitely were never going to win that challenge though

That ECF experience by Indiana last year has bode them well. They?re playing free and disciplined. Nembhard has been great this game.

Great win for Indiana.

This looks like it will be a fun series.

Love seeing that. I think of the times last year that the Cs stopped running and just tried to drain the clock last year, only to lose. Granted, there was a lot more time on the clock, but it has stuck with me.

Impressive game from the Pacers.  Absolutely played their game and were confident the whole game.   Have we all been underestimating Indy?

Guess I was just being a doomer earlier. Really impressive finish by this Pacers team.

There was a question on NBA Reddit earlier today about which would be a bigger upset: Indy or Denver? And the overwhelming majority of people said Indy winning would be a bigger upset.

I was really surprised by those results. Not only is this Indy team really good, but OKC basically looks unstoppable. I guess people understandably believe in Jokic. Either way this series looks like it?ll be a fun one.

Good win for Indy.

For Clevland they can at least tell themselves they aren't going to be -30 from three going forward. If the three point shooting was closer this game could have been much different. That said the game was played at the temp that Indy would prefer and if they can do that and cut down on the turnovers (16 vs 7 for cleveland) they'll have a chance in this series.

Even with Garland, I doubt Cle wins this game. They are not built for the postseason. Small guards get exposed in the playoffs. Mitchell was 13-30.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I want to say I'm surprised by this Indy win but they have been the only team outside the Cs who could beat the Cavs in the regular season.  They have a dangerous offense but their defense will hold them back.

Looks like this will be a tough series.  I don?t think it?s Indy?s series.  Cavs haven?t really had a playoff game till tonight.   Either of these teams will be tough if the Cs get past NY.
