Cade Cunningham had back-to-back 10 turnovers games.

20 turnovers in 2 games!!!

* He is now averaging 4.7 turnovers per game (leads league). He has a 2:1 AST:TOV ratio with 9.4 assists a night (3rd best in league).

* He is scoring 24.6ppg (15th in league) but on a below league average scoring efficiency of 55.2% TS%.

The league leaders for turnovers are Cade at 4.7, Harden 4.6, Trae 4.5. Then there is a dip to 3.8 with a three way tie of LeBron, LaMelo Ball and J Poole. Then Giannis, Wemby, Ant after that (3.5 to 3.4 turnovers per game). So 3 guys way out in front.

Harden TS% is 56.7% for 21.3ppg.
Trae is 56.2% for 23.1ppg.

All 3 below average TS% along with high turnovers. Cade the lowest TS% of the three of them. Harden's TS% was lower earlier in the season. Looks like he has been picking up. I also think his scoring was lower. In the teens. Now at 21ppg. So more scoring and more efficient scoring.

Its a lot of turnovers for sure, but given the offensive talent he has around him I think he's had a very encouraging season. He's stretched a little thin being the #1 offensive option on a team without great spacing or other offensive talent, but if you put his skill on a team where he could be a #2 option I think  he'd be awesome.

Agreed 100%.

I'd like to see Cade get an All-Star nod this season. I think he is right on the bubble. Big stats but dodgy efficiency. Team doing well. 2 games over .500 right now. Team is 22-18 in the 40 games Cade has played. He has led them. He is the engine of that team. He makes them go.

It does boggle my mind how many high turnover games Cade has though. 5 turnover games are bad enough but these games where Cade has 7-10 turnovers are crazy. He has 9 of them now. Almost 25% of the games he has played this season (9 of 40).

I'd feel better if he had at least had one of (1) turnovers (2) TS% being positive. It would make it easier to live with the low efficiency in the other area.

I read that Dallas is the only team to beat OKC twice this season. They play again tonight. Let's see if Dallas can beat them again and make it three wins against OKC this season.

Lol and they beat them in the playoffs last year too. Matchup problem?

So, for the East starters they have representatives from the 1st (1), 2nd (1), 3rd (2), and 4th (1) ranked teams.

For the West starters they have representatives from the 1st (1), 4th (1), 5th (1), 10th (1), and 11th (1) ranked teams, with the old heads (James, Durant, Curry) representing the 5th, 10th, and 11th teams. Crazy.

It really is just a popularity contest unfortunately.

LaMelo Ball and Cade to me were snubbed, at least one of them for sure.

Truthfully I think Wemby or even AD have a case over Durant/Lebron.

Can't really get too upset about any of the All Star selections so far. I thought Tatum, Giannis and Towns were pretty straight forward. At the guard position there are like six guys who are all pretty close. Any of Mitchell, Brunson, Garland, Lillard, Cunningham, Young or even hero would have been fine choices.

I'm fine with Ball not being a starter, I'd even be fine if he's not on the team. The guy is playing unserious basketball taking 24+ FGA's a game on an 11 win team.

Yeesh, Dallas is two minutes away from beating the Thunder for a third time (!) this season already, with at least two of those wins without Luka.

That's got to be concerning if you're OKC, as they could very well be a first or second round matchup for them in the West. Just not a good matchup for them for whatever reason.

I think the East was perfect with starters. I think winning should be rewarded. And Cade definitely deserves an All Star nod, but that will come as a reserve.

This is why he shouldn?t be an all star. Defense isn?t good, either.
