Oh man, a three point barrage by OKC late in Q3 to stretch the lead from 12 to 17. Tough blow for Dallas.

Pity. I would have preferred a close game in Q4.

Update: Wow, 10-0 run by Dallas early in Q4. 10pt game with 9min to play. Game on.

Update: The lead was yo-yoing between 10-20pts through the fourth. Dallas kept pushing but couldn't crack through.

OKC's three point shooting was sensational. They were 20-49 from three. 41%. Half of their shots from three point range. They look so tough. A one man dynamo in SGA. Terrific shooting. J-Dub 2nd option. Hartenstein handling the paint. Get Chet back and you have 2 7 footers. OKC are a load.

2 - Memphis
3 - Houston
4 - Dallas
5 - Golden State
6 - LA Clippers

Feel good stories with Memphis & Houston rising to the top of the West. Main contenders to OKC for 1st place. OKC 18 wins. Memphis 17 wins. 16 wins apiece for Houston & Dallas.

Golden State and especially the Clippers are a surprise to be this high up. The play-in teams are even more of a surprise.

8 - LA Lakers
9 - Minnesota
10 - Phoenix

Denver and Minnesota were (are?) expected title contenders. LA Lakers were not but they did make the WCF two years ago. Denver title winner 2 years ago. Minnesota WCF last year.

Then Phoenix who haven't had that postseason success yet but have a major Big Three with Durant, D Booker, Beal. They have looked good with Durant but lousy without him. They do not even look a .500 without Durant. Very disappointing. But they have looked good when their Big Three has been healthy this season.

All big names all in the play-in spots.

Jonas would be good for Miami. They could use him as a backup center and play two big lineups with Bam at PF as well. Get Jonas 26-30mpg.

Not really serious about trying to get him, but given that we can?t trade multiple players I don?t think there?s any salary on the Cs close enough to match JV.  But as a player, I like him.  Pretty durable, good effort, puts the ball in basket close in, rebounds, can block shots. Slow, no three, but knowing KP is not reliable, strengthening the 5 would be good.
