Norman Powell says no one has an ego on this year?s Clippers team

?I think this year we have guys who are really team-oriented and team-focused on both sides of the ball who are willing to learn, grow, and have the mentality of doing whatever it takes to win. Everybody?s coachable and focused on the task at hand. There are no egos. I think the atmosphere has been a lot of fun. We?re playing pure basketball.?

Norm Powell taking a shot at PG13 & Kawhi.

Kawhi still on that team

Yeah, but he's not playing. Out injured.

Useless trivia

Screen graphic just said Ant has tied Kevin Garnett for the most 30+pts 5+ast games with 40 games each.

Good job Ant. Did it early in his 5th season. Quick.

Classic Marcus Smart, lol.

When the focus turned to his matchup Saturday, Smart wasn?t shy about boasting about his play.

I?m sure they?ve seen how well I?ve been playing and will do everything to stop me from having a big game, Smart told the Memphis Commercial Appeal Thursday. This is a significant test for us.

Smart has played better off the bench in the past two weeks but he?s had a rough season overall in Memphis that?s been riddled by injuries. He?s averaging 9.8 points per game while shooting 37 percent from the field and 32 percent from 3-point range in 13 appearances. That puts him on pace for his worst shooting season since 2016-17.

I can't believe there was a game already today. Over. What time was that? Was that game held abroad or something?

Evan Mobley with 41pts. 16-23 FGA 6-8 3PTA. 10reb 3blks.

Unfortunate for Franz Wagner. Orlando was definitely a team that would pose problems to Boston

Looks like the Knicks will be overtaking the 3 seed, unless Milwaukee goes on a surge again.

LeBron complaining about LAL's injury crisis. Only one serious player is out injured in Austin Reaves. They are also missing Vanderbilt, C Woods, Jaxson Hayes. LAL should be able to replace those 3 guys without much problem. They have good forward depth to replace Vanderbilt. Woods has never fit in. Jaxson Hayes is mediocre.

A Reaves is a loss though. Mainly because LAL have zero guard depth. They have only 3 legit rotation guards in Reaves, D Russelll and Gabe Vincent. And Gabe Vincent is playing terribly. He is averaging only 4ppg in 18mpg on 35% FG% 25% 3PT%.

Max Christie is emerging but still too undependable on offense. I'd rate him as a below average backup SG to quality 3rd stringer. Next in line is Bronny. Heck, given how badly Gabe Vincent is playing, I'd like to see Bronny get an 8-10 game trial period. See if he can do any better. That is how badly Gabe Vincent is playing.

So without A Reaves they go from a quality starting SG to a 3rd stringer replacing him.

MPJ quietly having a nice season for Denver. Stepping up with Jamal Murray struggling for form.

19ppg 7.2rpg 2.7apg

51% FG% 41% 3PT% only 1.3 turnovers.

Washington are not only 2 wins 18 losses but they are getting outscored by 17 points per game. What a miserable team that must be to follow.

Jordan Poole is

7-15 on three point attempts
2-3 on two point attemps

That is what? 5/6ths of his attempts from 3. 83% of his shots?

Washington picked up their 3rd win of the season against Denver tonight despite Jokic putting up 56pts 16rebs 8ast. Jokic was 22-38 FGA. I thought he was 16-23 FGA late in Q3 when I looked so he finished only 6-15 FGA in Q4.

Denver got no made 3 pointers from anyone other than Jokic in their starting lineup. MJP was 0-5. Braun, P Watson, Westbrook all limited shooters so not surprising they all failed to make one. More 3 point shooting problems on the bench. Only Strawther made 2 threes. The team was 5-24 from three with Jokic 3-5 so the rest of the team was 2-19 from three.

Poole finished with 39pts. He was 9-20 from three. Old friend Justin Champagnie had a good game with 23pts 8reb 2stl 2blk. Very active. Things just seemed to come off for him when I was watching. Valanciunas with 20pts 12reb 5ast 5blk.

Jokic went off for 56pts/16rebs/6ast, but the Nuggets still lose to the Wizards.

C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

Embiid is back!

26pts 6reb 3ast in 21min so far. Mid Q3.

This 76ers team is so talented. McCain has been a huge addition to their squad. They now have 4 legit 20 point threats. McCain is scary off ball. So hard to double off of him and send him to Embiid. Lethal shooter. Perfect fit.

C: Embiid, Drummond
F: Yabu, Caleb Martin
F: P George, Oubre
G: McCain, K Martin Jr
G: Maxey, Lowry

They have Eric Gordon as well. He looks to be squeezed out. They have 3 small guards already in Maxey, Lowry and McCain. They don't need a fourth. They should go bigger on the wing.

4 20 point therats.

Yabu and Oubre as 5th & 6th scoring options. K Mart, Caleb Martin as floor spacers. Lowry as team offense. Drummond as interior garbage man.

The Sixers are loaded.
