At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Feels like they?ve essentially taken SGA out of this game offensively.

The physicality is really bothering him.

Good answer to that little OKC run.  Two big threes by Toppin.

  • Yup
These two are very evenly matched at this point.  Both teams have things they do well and both teams have weapons neutralize those things for stretches.

Always liked Toppin.  Glad to see him shine in the limelight.
Yup

I'm sorry but if OKC loses this Finals, SGA deserves a ton of criticism. This is the MVP? He's looked far from it this series, don't really care about the points where is his MVP impact?

Nembhard's job on SGA reminds me of JB on Luka last year.

OKC somehow have zero answer for Toppin, and Chet has been very underwhelming this series

Not a great end to the quarter. Should've pushed it up a bit more, but missed free throws keeping OKC in the game.

I agree. The favorable whistle during the regular season has a lot to do with this.

Hard to win when you can't make a three pointer.

2-14 now for OKC.

They need their role players to hit outside shots to space the floor for Shai to attack.

Thought I was crazy, but seriously felt like OKC has been substantially better with SGA off the floor tonight.

The +/- backs it up - he's currently at a -16 with everyone else at a -7 or better.

Unacceptable by the MVP, but this is also a coaching failure to not figure out how to respond to Indy's approach to guarding SGA.

I often see teams that struggle to make an entry pass, but Indy is a rare case where they struggle to CATCH one.  They just wait for the ball to get to them and let these overaggressive OKC defenders jump on their back for the deflection.  Seen that multiple times in this game.  Have to come to the ball.
