They have to do something about that off arm push-off.  That's not even strictly an SGA thing.  That's league-wide, including our own guys.

yeah JB and JT do it to, but they get called for it lol

I can't stand SGA and his flopping, embellishing ways.

Pretty soft to be as physical and aggressive on D as OKC is and yet still flop like fish every chance you get. Such an unlikable team.

Another shove to make room for the jumper.  Splendid.

EDIT:  That foul by Nesmith was too much IMO.  Don't like seeing guys get yanked down in the air like that.

Turner looks like crap all game and then has 2 monster blocks on Chet in the same possession.

I really appreciate the way IND plays down the stretch of a game where they have a lead. They had a couple of dumb TOs, but they just keep coming at you. Getting those extra points instead of slowing it down and wasting the clock is really refreshing to see.

And so many teams don't do that.  Even other young, athletic transition teams have this tendency to slow down and play grindy half-court basketball at the end of a game - OKC included.  Indiana is really the only team in the league that wants to keep the pedal down.

Thunder in 5

That's going to be pretty hard at this point being down 2-1.

My Pacers in 5 or 6 prediction doesn't look so crazy anymore.  Though Chet has been better than I thought he'd be.

Mathurin had a great game. 27pts on 9-12 shooting. He has a lot of talent and could put Indy over the top in this series.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Good win by Indy.  We have a series!

I see two storylines so far.  One is that Myles Turner can't do anything on offense except take open catch-and-shoot jumpers or dunks.  He is incapable of handling the ball against OKC.  Even on the glass he gets stripped a lot.  He has to do better with the ball in his hands.

The other is that SGA appears to tire late.  If the game is close enough for it to matter, that's a major problem for OKC because he's their only consistent source of quality half-court offense.  Williams and Holmgren don't appear ready to take the reins on this stage in crunch time when necessary.  So Indy overplays a worn-out SGA and OKC hasn't come up with a counter to that yet.

If Brad Stevens had the same aptitude for putting together a coaching staff as he has building a team roster, Rick Carlisle would be the Celtics head coach and we would be working on a repeat title right now.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce
