Rob Parker at Fox Sports Radio calls JJ Redick the worst coach in the playoffs after Gm 4.

I don't know him or who his pick to win the championship is but wouldn't surprise me at all if it was the lakers.  If so he's going to look pretty foolish if they get eliminated in the first round.

Not that I need any additional motivation to root against the lakers but seeing nick wright (who i know picked the lakers to win it) get this so wrong will make it even sweeter.

Man I had goosebumps watching John Mason PA introducing the Detroit Pistons starting lineup. They used the Final Countdown again, reminded me of the classic '04 Pistons days. Coldest introduction in the NBA imo.

I really hope Detroit wins tonight so I can live to watch another one in Game 6  8)

It is funny how there's barely anything on espn about the lakers since going down 3-1.  There was the game recap but little else.  When they win there are clips of the TV shows with analysts discussing them.  None of that since Sunday.

Don't worry, they'll win Game 5 and ESPN will say "they are back! Lakers in 7"

Then when they lose, it'll be 24/7 blaming JJ Reddick and Luka while they defend Lebron

Unfortunately, if there's one person who can come back up from 3-1, it's that man playing in their team. That being said, hope the Wolves finish the job in Game 5

Lakers losing in 5 would mean AD and the Mavs will have as many "post season" wins as Luka and company.

Yup

Rob Parker is a hack and always dismissed Tom Brady during his NE and Tampa Bay stints. But worst coach in the playoffs IDK, Miami did get swept and got beat into oblivion at home in a do-or-die game last night. Memphis also were swept as well. Then you have JJ playing his starters all 2nd half.

For those interested.

On top of his bizarre infatuation with attempting it disparage Brady's on field accomplishments, he's what you need to know about Rob Parker.  He's been an attention seeking hack for decades fired from multiple gigs.

Quote
Rob Parker (sports journalist)

Controversies
Hank Aaron column
In 2004, Parker penned a much-maligned column where he called Hank Aaron a "coward" for declining to attend when Barry Bonds would break the career home run record.[16] [17]

Michigan State fight
In October 2008, Parker erroneously reported that Kirk Cousins, quarterback for the Michigan State Spartans, was involved in a fight with members of the Michigan State hockey team. After being publicly reproved by head coach Mark Dantonio at his weekly news conference, Parker was suspended by The Detroit News for two weeks.[18]

Rod Marinelli question
On December 21, 2008, at a press conference following the Lions 42?7 loss to the New Orleans Saints, during the Lions' 0?16 season, Parker caused controversy when he addressed a question at Lions head coach Rod Marinelli about Lions defensive coordinator Joe Barry, Marinelli's son-in-law, inquiring whether Marinelli wished that his daughter had "married a better defensive coordinator."[19] The question was criticized as unprofessional and inappropriate. The next day, Parker wrote that the comment was "an attempt at humor" and not a malicious attack.[20] On January 6, 2009, The Detroit News announced that Parker had resigned from the newspaper the previous week.[21]

Comments on Robert Griffin III
On December 13, 2012, on First Take, Parker made controversial remarks relating to Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III during a segment discussing Griffin's comment at an earlier press conference that although he was an African-American, he did not want to be defined by that alone.[22] Parker stated that these words were a "red flag" for him and asked "Is he a brother, or is he a cornball brother?" When asked to explain what he meant by this, he stated, "He's not real. OK, he's black, he kind of does the thing, but he's not really down with the cause. He's not one of us. He's kind of black but he's not really, like, the guy you want to hang out with because he's off to something else." Parker then cited Griffin having a white fianc?e and "talk about how he's a Republican" (though he acknowledged having no information to support this).[23]

Later that day, ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys said that Parker's comments, "were inappropriate and we are evaluating our next steps."[24] ESPN announced on December 20, 2012 that Parker would be suspended for 30 days.[25][26] Parker expressed surprise at the reaction to his comments, stating "Looking back on some of the comments, I can see where people could take it out of context and run with it. But the response and what happened over the past 30 days is just shocking."[27] ESPN announced on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, that Parker would not return.[28]

Good half from the Bucks. Can they extend their season with a strong 2nd half?

Great lineup changes by Doc. I do not understand why he didn't do this earlier.

Brook Lopez has been killing them in this series. He cannot contain Haliburton in the PnR. He cannot help and recover to Myles Turner at the three point line. He needed to be benched much earlier.

Doc was also slow to bench Taureen Prince. Interesting to see him bench Kuzma as well. I like what Kuzma has done for Milwaukee generally but he has been dreadful in this series.

Pacers matching up with the Bucks small ball

G: Hali
G: McConnell
G: Mathurin
F: Toppin
F: Siakam

Against

G: K Porter Jr
G: AJ Green
F: Kuzma
F: Portis
F: Giannis

Feels like this will give Giannis an even bigger advantage inside. MIL's small ball lineup has much better defensive integrity & team rebounding.

The commentators are so much better in the Indy vs Bucks game than in the NYK vs Pistons game. Makes the game much more enjoyable to watch.

I do not understand why TNT has such deficient commentators.

McConnell's ability to score one-on-one is incredible. He doesn't look like a guy who should be able to create separation so often and so effectively. But he does. Time and time again.

Gotta love his game.

Oh man, what a big shot by G Trent. Buzzer beater. All the momentum going Indiana's way. Looked like they may be starting to pull away. That MIL was running out of steam. Killer 3 by Trent.

Nice Pistons lineup.

G: Schroder
G: M Beasley
F: Tim Hardaway Jr
F: T Harris
C: Duren

A PnR maestro. Two knockdown wing shooters. A good shooting big forward. A rim rolling big man. Good offensive grouping. A lot of fun for Schroder. He gets to pull the strings on everything.

The Knicks going with the double PG (Cam Payne, McBride), double big (Towns, M Robinson), one wing (Mikal Bridges) against this Pistons group.
