Kerr didn't stick with that lineup for long. Takes out Hield and Q Post for Jimmy and GP II.

G: Steph
G: G Payton II
G: Podz
F: Jimmy
C: TJD

Jimmy is being asked to defend Sengun.
Next possession it was GP2 defending Sengun.

That is asking a lot of Jimmy. Or GP2. Neither guy should be able to stop Sengun.

Oh man, what a drive by Sengun down the left wing, along the baseline and up through the chest of TJD. Layup.

Amen Thompson has been killing Houston these last 3 games. They need to go away from him. Go back to Jabari Smith Jr. At least that guy can make a jump-shot.

Sengun and VanVleet have 40 of HOU's 80 points.

They also have 9 of their 16 assists.

Carrying the Rockets.

Jalen Green another no-show performance. They should stay away from him in Q4. He has 5 turnovers in only 18 minutes. 3-8 FGA 1-3 FTA 1ast 8pts. -14 +/- in his 18min.

Nope. Udoka brings him back to play PG while VanVleet rests. I'd rather play Aaron Holiday.

Brings back Amen as well who has been killing their offense for 3 straight games now.

G: Jalen Green
F: Amen
F: Tari Eason
C: Sengun
C: S Adams

I don't like these Udoka subs.

G: GP2
G: Podz
F: Moody
F: Jimmy
C: Post

Nobody to defend Sengun. Two layups with an Amen layup were he outmuscled Post on the drive in between. No interior defense for GSW. No man defender to cover Sengun.

Steph early sub for Moody. Rockets go smaller. 3 guards. Only one wing. Only one (finesse) big man.

Now they bring back Draymond. They finally got someone who can stay in front of Sengun. Houston bring back VanVleet but leave Jalen Green out there. Sub Tari Eason instead.

This looks like GSW's closing lineup. They love the three guards (Steph, Podz, GP2), Jimmy and Draymond. 7 minutes to go. They may go with this group the rest of the way.

Houston still in twin big lineup. VanVleet, Jalen Green and Amen. I'd like to see them switch their two wings out. I don't trust either guy down the stretch.

Warriors subbed GP2 for Buddy Hield to make their closing lineup. Houston brought back Jabari Smith Jr instead of Jalen Green but kept Amen Thompson out there.

Sorry, they went away from double big with Dillon Brooks back in as well. No wait, quick breather for S Adams. Now he is back. Jabari is out. Amen stays.

HOU were up 101-97. GSW quick run up 104-101. VanVleet ties it up with a 3 as we near final minute.

Amen Thompson will eventually be the Rockets' best player - at least out of the guys currently on the roster - but he's not ready for playoff basketball.  GS is letting Curry rest on him and save his energy for the other end and he has no tools in his bag to punish that.  No jumpshot, no post game to punish a player 6 inches shorter and far less athletic, and a slashing game easily shut down by standard help defense which is always abundant with Sengun and Adams sharing the court.  Beast in transition but most playoff games aren't played there.

I find the Rockets fascinating, in a way.  I'm not high on most of the players on that roster yet somehow they have a 2 seed.  Guess it's just proof how little most of these teams care about the regular season - a mediocre group can nab a high seed just by trying.

Oh man! Houston were so slow to push the ball off the rebound. They could have an easy layup in transition. GSW were expecting a timeout and 2-3 guys were not bothering to run back in transition. Houston pause. Then finally go. Then VanVleet falls over. Opportunity gone. Timeout Houston.

Good no timeout. Good call on later timeout when team failed to take advantage.

Wasted opportunity. It was right there!!

Your out-of-bounds play gets you Sengun 30 feet from the basket iso'd against GS's best defensive player.  Never change, Udoka.

I liked those late defensive possession lineups by S Kerr. He finally put Looney out there to play HOU's double big lineup. Draymond and Looney to cover Sengun and S Adams.

Jimmy with the game winning defensive rebound.

Rockets won 1 in Golden State but lost both home games.

3-1 series lead for GSW. I can't see Houston coming back from this and winning 3 straight. Not with their offensive problems. Not against this Warriors team. Commanding lead.

Hopefully, they can wrap this up in the next game. I don't much like watching the Rockets. Their players are too inconsistent. Never know what will show up for them. Sometimes they are worth watching. Sometimes it is head wrecking watching them play.

The dude just won them the game.

Did you see what Sengun was doing to all of their other players while Draymond was in foul trouble? Draymond was awesome.

Agreed.  Media is going nuts over Butler, Curry and Green.  I can't wait til they get beat.
