Is that Dinwiddie?

I figured he was out injured. Why keep him on the bench so long when your offense is faltering?

Zach Edey moves so much like Yao Ming used to.

Similar gait. The way he uses his arms on D. The gather to finish.

The say teams take on the personality of their stars.

You can see the whole team choking like the choke-artist AD. That guy needs to be a #2 hiding behind someone else. He can't lead anyone.

Nice work Nico Harrison. Great team you assembled. "Defense wins championships". Agreed, except the Mavericks still don't have one.

0pts = PJ Washington
0pts = Lively
3pts = Gafford

31 minutes played. 3 points total.

It is hard to play big lineups when only 1 of your 4 bigs (AD) is giving you anything on offense. In fairness to them, there was no creation / playmaking from the perimeter guys to get them some easy hoops. Everything was so stagnant.

-------------------------------------

Brandon Williams was the only guy who brought some speed, dribble penetration, passing, shot creation to the perimeter. Unfortunately, he shot the ball badly. But he was doing good things. They gotta use him more in the 2nd half. They gotta bring in J Hardy as well. He will give you more of those good qualities. Maybe use Klay some at the 3. Spread out the floor. Let the two drive. Let Klay spot up.

Good run led by AD. It does not look sustainable though. Nobody else is helping him get baskets. He is doing it by himself.

A pair of baskets by Klay. First signs of non-AD life.

Don't fall in love with 3 AD. You got your team back in the game by taking mostly smart shots.

Do not start taking dumb shots again like you did when Memphis was pulling away earlier in the game. Play smart.

It has been interesting to see Konchar and Mo Bagley get more playin time under this new coach. Konchar doing some good things for them. Not yet convinced by Bagley's inclusion.

That is a big frontcourt by Memphis. A triple towers.

F: Aldama
F: Jaren Jackson Jr
C: Mo Bagley

Late Q3 they switched out Mo Bagley for Z Edey. Even bigger!

Oh my goodness. That is a tough shot by JJJ. A crossover dribble drive, running one hander off the glass from 15-17 feet away.

PJ Washington with a massive dud, but also Mavs just can't get stops. Had a great quarter scoring but still lost the quarter 30-29

9pts and 4ast in only 11 minutes for B Williams.

That guy is instant offense.
