Someone bought it up online, but it's kinda true. If Lebron wasn't gonna play in this game or suit up at all, that probably meant another guy who was "snubbed" could have been named an All-Star

Back when they had the injured list, guys would have to sit out 3 or 5 games if they sat out. They should bring that back. That included the All Star game. You sit out the ASG you couldn't play for your team.

These strange lineups don't feel like an ASG at all.

Is that Tyler Herro center stage? Why?

He is probably the least known All-Star of the bunch.

Not liking this pre-game center court chat either. Just play ball. Go out and hoop.

No.  It?s even worse than the farce games it had become.  Especially glaringly bad in contrast to the NHL 4 Nations Tourney.

I don?t think I?m going to watch any more.  And that?s sad.  I?ve always been a sucker for the All Star Game. I?m
Yup

Kevin Hart is annoying. Take his microphone away.

They are not even running. They are jogging up and down the court.

What happened to fastbreaks?

So much bad basketball.

Sloppy with brief moments of quality.

Still better than the usual ASG. Least there is a little defense.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

J Dub is pressing too hard on offense. Forcing things.

Okay, that is enough of that. 1 game is enough for me.

I might be the outlier but I like the new format.  Seems like teams in the first game played harder than the last few all star games.  I like seeing Wemby show out.  The was actually some defense!  A few blocks and steals out there.

So Lebron is skipping the game at the last minute?

I agree. They needed to change it up.
