Embiid sticks out like a sore thumb on this team. Everything is about speed, versatility, and switchability and then Embiid is just there plodding.

Agree with this. They?re looking to exploit Embiid almost every time down the floor. Doesn?t really fit with the Curry, Ant, Lebron, Tatum lineup. AD or Bam would fit much better.

I'm wondering, is he still hurt? Or still gassed from last season? Either way it's not really a good look. It's not just the productivity/stats but like Karalis says the guy looks like he's laboring out there one way or another.

If I am a 76ers fan I would be pretty annoyed and stressed he is playing in this. I don?t really get it

I'm not sure. They had a lead, but played down to their competition. It's hard to play with max energy against a team that you know isn't that good. I think this team can sweep everyone without their best stuff.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

So D-White was a DNP? Not sure that would have gone over well if that happened to JB.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

They said White flew in from being on a vacation and was probably not ready to play. Most players would have been the same. Feel like same would have happened with any player that abruptly flew in.

It?s certainly possible, but  France clearly
Has a much more talented roster than Australia. Not sure they can throw away the ball unforced 15 times against wemby, gober, batum and coulibaly is a bit of a different league than giddey, josh green, exam and joe ingles.

It's probably his only real chance at championship hardware in the league  :-X

Too many times these offensive minded players go to sleep and give the opponents way TOO EASY buckets.  Stand and watching , poor man on man effort

It's an ominous sign for the Sixers. Maybe he is as healthy as he's going to get, and this is just the player he is now.

That would be a major blow for the 76ers.

If there were to be the case, you would wonder if Philly should still build their offense around Embiid or whether he should transition into more of a supporting role like Duncan did from 2009-15. Let Maxey and PG13 be more of the focal point. Develop more team passing & movement with Embiid as a facilitator more so than scorer.

Thanks for posting that, TP. Going to try to catch some of it on my lunch break.
