Jayson Tatum?s biggest prediction came after Jimmy Fallon asked which two teams would be in the 2025 NBA Finals. Tatum said he?s predicting a rematch of the 2024 championship series in which the Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks. It?s gonna be a rematch. We?re gonna play Dallas again, Tatum said. via nbcsportsboston.com

False. It will be Celtics vs Wolves NBA Finals.

And Boston Celtics win Banner 19 next June.

Didn?t you say that last season? Mav?s didn?t have much trouble with the T-Wolves.

The biggest question I have with MIN is... can they win with KAT being their #2? Because yeah, he was not good at all in that series. Neither was Ant but I feel KAT/Gobert tend to get exposed deep into playoff runs and they are a bit soft.

Obviously huge kudos to them for winning against Denver but I think MIN actually matches up well against Denver and Jokic, and Denver has some of their own problems too.

I think OKC is a very complete team next year. SGA their MVP as usual, Hartenstein is a huge addition next to Chet to help their frontcourt and rebounding, and Caruso is also one of the most underrated additions this offseason. Giddey became an awkward fit for them, but Caruso fits them better and is a better defender.

I predict a close Boston-Oklahoma City Finals, hopefully ending in Boston in 6

Better believe it.  :)

Steve Kerr on benching Jayson Tatum in the Olympics: Celtics fans are going to be all over me

Steve Kerr knows Boston Celtics fans will try to make his life miserable after Jayson Tatum?s limited playing time with Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics. That will specifically be the case when the Warriors visit TD Garden on Nov. 6, but coach Kerr isn?t going to lose sleep over it. I think they?re going to be all over me, Kerr told NBA.com?s Steve Aschburner, laughing. That?s fine. via NBC Sports Bay Area

I'm hoping for five. I hate being the team with the second best record.

I don't trust OKC.

I think they are overrated and were exposed by Dallas in the playoffs. If the Celtics are mostly healthy in next year?s postseason, I think it will go a lot like it did this year.

Agreed.  Nothing happened this offseason to affect the Celts being on the top tier by themselves across the league.  Hard to see the Celts, if healthy, losing a 7-game series to anyone.

They must have cut one of the other signees?  I thought we were at the maximum of 21 players.

I know there was some source that said we were at 21 a week or so ago, but I could only count to 20 players at that time.  But maybe we cut the guy I couldn?t remember.

14 roster players + 3 two-ways + Lonnie Walker + Tristan Enaruna + Ron Harper + Jordan Shakel = 21

Shapinestev would be 22.
