People always criticise Tatum and Brown for being together so many years and falling short, but there is an important key that people forget.

2017/18 - 2018/19 Kyrie, Horford and Hayward were the stars/leaders of this team while Tatum and Brown were just prospects
2019/20 - 2020/21 Kemba was the star/leader of this team while Tatum and Brown were still young and still just starting to emerge

It wasn't until the 2021/22 season that Tatum and Brown officially took over as the faces and leaders of the Celtics, and in the three seasons since then:
* Year 1: Made it to game 6 of the NBA finals
* Year 2: Made it to game 7 of the ECF (held back by Game 7 Tatum injury)
* Year 3: NBA Champions

That's a hell of a record.
