Not going to lie, JT getting robbed again puts a bit of  a damper on things right now. Pretty sure JT yet again led the team in points, rebounds, assists yet doesn't get the MVP.

Just going to lead to more narratives against JT next year.

Yeah, after Brown getting the ECF MVP, you'd think the voters would have at least leaned toward Tatum for this one. Brown winning both is definitely not indicative of who the best player is on this team.
but that wasn't what the vote was about, was it? it was about the most valuable player in the finals. brown's defense was great consistently. and his offense was outstanding as well.

i was hoping he would get it.

Nobody thought Andre Igoudala was the best players on the Warriors, and nobody thinks less of Steph because he didn't win that Finals MVP. Tatum is still the best player on the Celtics, but Brown was a deserving Finals MVP.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

We are so lucky to have the Jays locked down for another 5 years.

Love that JT clearly doesnt care who won the MVP - he's nothing but smiles.

I hope so. He looked a little gut-punched to me.
.

Oh he for sure was but he also made all nba first team and brown didn?t make even the third team and they were both deserving
