Not going to lie, JT getting robbed again puts a bit of  a damper on things right now. Pretty sure JT yet again led the team in points, rebounds, assists yet doesn't get the MVP.

Just going to lead to more narratives against JT next year.

Yeah, after Brown getting the ECF MVP, you'd think the voters would have at least leaned toward Tatum for this one. Brown winning both is definitely not indicative of who the best player is on this team.
but that wasn't what the vote was about, was it? it was about the most valuable player in the finals. brown's defense was great consistently. and his offense was outstanding as well.

i was hoping he would get it.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Love that JT clearly doesnt care who won the MVP - he's nothing but smiles.

This is what it means to sacrifice. Either of them could have won it and neither would have complained

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Jaylen got it right when the first thing out of his mouth was about the team and his partner in crime.  They did it together.  It wasn't one or the other, it was both with the whole franchise behind them and that's why we're here.

Which one got the MVP trophy is immaterial IMO.

That?s what I thought too, TP. His first words was that it was a team win. Selfless.

One of the best parts about this is the entire core in under contract for next year. They'll get a chance to win it again, probably even favorites as of right now.

Voters have something against Tatum.

First ECF MVP. Now Finals MVP. Deserved both.

Yep. And the worst one is our own ESPN coverage guy Tim Bontemps. Dude is a hack.

I thought Tatum certainly had a strong case for finals mvp, slightly robbed?Jaylen was fully deserving of the conference finals mvp

I hope so. He looked a little gut-punched to me.

Brown 100% deserved it. He played well throughout the series and guarded Luka basically the whole time.
