Definitely a sweep I?m hoping for. Don?t give them life. This goes back to Boston the announcers will be saying ? the Celtics better take care of business here ..? and they?ll be correct. Game 4 is too late for my 7 year-old to watch,  but we are headed to the West Coast next week, meaning she could see all of Game 5.  She?s a huge fan (and is terribly concerned about JD Davison?s roster status next year), knows who all the refs are and which ones to yell at, and it would be fun to share the excitement of a clinching game with her.

So I?m voting game 5 for personal reasons, but a sweep would be fun, and would give us the third-longest winning streak in a single postseason in NBA history.  It?s a win-win.  Let?s just not go 6.  That would be much less fun.

Wake her up a few minutes before clinching?

That is definitely the plan for tomorrow, but it would still be more fun to see the entire game.  As I say, win-win.  I?ve felt very confident that we?d win this series in four or five since the matchup was set, so tomorrow?s game is essentially house money for me emotionally.

How is this not 100% sweep?!?  We seriously have Celtics fans hoping for a loss tonight? Nothing is guaranteed until you get that final win.  I don?t care if you have tickets to game 5.  There?s no guarantee winning it then either

Perhaps my post was not clear enough. This was a hypothetical presuming that we win either game 4 or game 5, so the concern about winning not being guaranteed shouldn?t be included in the analysis.

So the question is really just do you prefer the sweep and the notoriety and narratives that come with it or the incredible environment that winning the championship at home entails.
