The Chiefs, Bills and Lions. *Maybe Texans, Packers and healthy Commanders*

Outside of those 5-6 teams though, is there really any other true threats? In fact it seems like half of the league is just bad/mediocre this year. So many teams are currently 3-4, 3-5 or 2-6 lol.

Hate to say but the Chiefs might just talk to a three-peat this season. Only Buffalo or Detroit can stop them IMO although Buffalo has not been successful in doing so the last 2-3 years

Isn't this basically Goodell's dream, and his doing? Make it so that pretty much anyone can beat pretty much anyone else on any given day?

And yeah, it's setting up for a Chiefs threepeat, unfortunately. Detroit's not really playoff tested, and the Bills seem to choke every year at some point.

Oh, and I just saw that the Pats traded Uche to the Chiefs ... so a bad deal all around. :(

Edit: Though I guess Uche would've just left as a UFA after this season, so at least they got something for him. But they also get worse on their pass rush by trading him.

Thoughts on Saints' Nathan Sheperd nailing Justin Herbert's already-hobbled ankle this past Sunday? Dirty play all-around, and ridiculous that it was an off-setting penalty when the Chargers' Bradley Bozeman just nailed Sheperd for backing up his QB. Not surprised coming from Dennis Allen and the Saints and their infamous Bountygate program. Wonder how much money was in that bounty?

Is the NFL pretty terrible this year or is it just me.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Agreed.  Too many bad teams, and barely any that you can trust to play well week in and week out.

The QB play has been horrendous. It?s a bad product right now.

Like Brady said several weeks ago and everyone (the pundits) ridiculed him...the QB play has deteriorated. There's been a lack of QB development and I agree with him. Young QBs in some teams are quick to be thrown into the fire without going through any real development first.

And then we have the QB hit rules (I guess mainly applies to Patrick Mahomes that if you breathe on him it's a 10-yard penalty automatic first down), kickoff rules, onside recovery rules like ugh lol

Just waiting for Week 16-18 and playoffs

I agree for the most part, but even the QB?s who have been around for a while aren?t looking great. Mahomes, Burrow, Rodgers. They don?t look like elite passers right now. I mean, Baker mayfield is leading the league in TD passes with 21. Lamar is second with 17.  :-X

It seems like the league changed the rules to favor passing, then all the teams loaded up to pass the ball, devalued the run game, but now the defenses have adjusted.  5 and 6 DB sets are the norm.  Emphasis on pass rushing.  I am not sure if the QB talent is any worse these days, maybe.  It does seem to me that OLines are worse, or that there is less time that the pocket holds up.  QBs seem to have no time to pass on all teams.  Mobile QBs who can extend plays are having the most success.
