I get a real 2019 Patriots vibe from the Chiefs this season.

They are 8-0. So were the Pats in 2019. Both teams also had flashy WR moves in-season (Antonio Brown briefly for the Pats and Sanu trade later on, Chiefs add Hopkins). But the QB play + offense really hasn't been great and there's been a lot of close games. Also been a few games for both teams where they lucked out at the end and escaped with a win. Defense is carrying but how long will that last.

And the way the playoff picture is unfolding, it's possible KC will meet a real threat as early as the wild card and potentially a "red hot team" going in (Baltimore? Cincy?) the same way NE met Tennessee and Derrick Henry that year in the wild card game.

The Chiefs are sitting pretty now but idk, my gut feeling is they'll lose early in the playoffs (before AFCCG) this year and surprise everyone.

I have a friend whose opponent had Lamar, Andrews, J. Chase AND Chase Brown. All combined for like 130 fantasy points alone. Ja'Marr alone had 55. Jesus... last night's game was a fantasy bonanza from both teams

They'll start losing games. Plenty of them. I think they will lose to the Texans, Steelers, Broncos, and Bills
