And is game 4 where we see Hauser finally get going??

I will be honest. I have loved his contributions all year but he cannot hit an open shot right now. Sit him and play Mihalik or more Brissett and maybe he gets the message that he needs to hit open shots.

winning two close games now sheds some demons

being down 18 on one of these ON THE ROAD has to shed demons also.

very hard to come back down that much on the road. we were not at home where you have a better shot for obvious reasons.

greg anthony on NBATV said pacers are done like dinner and C's will sweep and end this monday

said we have not had a great game yet and to expect it monday night
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I won't lie though, that final play call by Indiana was great. The equivalent of an NFL "three verticals" route with a screen and they got a good shot off, which honestly Indiana players probably hit more often than not. Not complaining that it missed, but it was a creative play design.

I've watched that Jrue steal like 30 times now.  Carlisle was complaining that it was a foul.  I think I have to agree with him.  At least not in the way he'd think.  I have never seen a player push off as much as nembhard does and gets away with it.  I see the J's get called for it all the time but Nembhard pushes off every time someone is in his space before he stops and goes to his fade away.  It's an offensive foul by definition every time he does it.  When you watch the replay of Jrue's steal he's pushing off again and if a foul was called it would be offensive.  Jrue beat him to the spot and the contact is created by Nembhard's attempt to push off Jrue.

Plus Carlisle can't complain because they didn't call the foul on the Tatum drive on the play before.  The refs last night were just straight up bad.

Every time Nembhard pushes off. It’s blatant

Carlisle was absolutely fuming at the postgame. But honestly he deserves the criticism, he’s been god awful this series particularly late in Games 1 and 3. Then “giving up” with 9 mins left in Game 2 only down 12.

The Celtics were down 12 early in the 4th and still down 9 with 2:30 to go btw. They never gave up.

Mazzulla’s having a pretty good series IMO. We can debate some minor stuff but he’s not vomiting all over himself nor is the team. I also think he’s doing a pretty good job with the timeouts and ATOs this postseason, definitely better than last year

In previous years Marc Davis would've taken the Celtics out of there game. But they hung tough and pulled out a game that was all up hill. The Crowd, Pacers playing out of their minds, Refs with so many bad one way calls.  Still a win. This team has come a long way!

Marc Davis did his best to get the Pacers the win. Not by just the stuff they called on Boston but by the stuff they ignored from Indiana. Things that were being done by the Pacers were not called and then they would be called on Boston.

Nembhard drives to the basket EVERY time and dislodges his defender with his off arm to create enough space so he can hit that fall away jumper. It is blatant. Brown did the same thing one time and was called for it. Turner and Siakim throw their big butts out on the screen. No call. The flagrant foul on White was a joke. Turner lands sideways and kicked his leg out.

It was the worst whistle the Cs have gotten all playoffs and it is no surprise it was Marc Davis. He hates Boston.

The missed foul on Jrue that led to a Turner and one was atrocious. That was a 5 point swing. Jrue should have had 2 FTs but yet Turner gets a fast break hoop and a phantom foul called.

The clear path was a joke. In every other situation that is called a clear path.

And let me say...Doris Burke is insufferable. That broadcast team spends the entire game talking about the Pacers. They did this even in game 2 when the Cs were up 20. Reddick is the only one that brings some common sense. Even Mike Breen sounded sad when the Cs were making their run.
what I want to know is how that wasn’t a transition take foul on Jrue? That was so ridiculous

Couldn't watch it either, was just using phone. I thought it was officially done when it was 109-101 with 2:30 to go. Next thing you know, it's 111-111 with Jrue shooting a FT lol

Tatum pushes off a lot and rarely gets called for it.

Boston fans know the feeling - the game is slipping away feeling. Indy fans had 40+ minutes of feeling pretty good about the game.

are you saying the last foul by indiana on holiday should have been a clear path foul? i think the reason it was not called is because the foul is meant to apply when the offensive player is going for a score. holiday had no intention to score and wanted to play out the clock.

and brown is a master at pushing off when he drives to the basket.

Thought it was over when they were down 18. That behind the back pass by Tatum to Horford's 3 was insane
