Dont get me wrong i really like Tillman (and Luke, and Q, for that matter), just wondering who some good upgrade targets are?

I would be ecstatic if we could somehow land Walker Kessler. He's the only big man trade candidate out there that excites me. He only makes $3 mill this year- and has a team option of 4.5mill next year- so salaries would be pretty easy to match. However, i'm sure Dannys asking price would be incredibly steep. He would probably want multiple 1st rounders and a couple of our young guys, probably Scheierman and/or Walsh.

"Hey Danny, remember when Kevin McHale did you that solid..."

haha exactly. pay it forward, big guy.

I like Kessler a lot. But he has launched 22 shots from 3 in two years. Not sure he's a great fit.

There's also no chance he's on the market.

I wonder if Myles Turner could be swayed, although he is a FA next year.

I also like Steven Adams but also a FA at the end of this year.

We will have 43 million dollars tied up in Zinger, Payton, Neeimas and Tillman next year.

I could see us trading away Zinger if he is unable to play next year's playoffs.

Again, I think we should offer Horford another two years at reasonably good money (10 per).

Porzingis has averaged about 57 games per season in his career.  He played exactly 57 regular season games last season and then an additional 7 playoff games.  So I think it is pretty reasonable to assume that he will not hold up for more than say 50 regular season games if he is going to have any likelihood of making it through the playoffs.  Here is how the games line up:

Start Dec 1 vs. CLE - 63 games remain
Start Dec 25 vs PHI - 55 games remain
Start Jan 2 vs MIN - 51 games remain

Now of course he likely would not play every game, he would likely take one of back to backs off.  There are 6 BtBs after Jan 2.  Assuming these BtB games result in one missed game, he could play on Christmas and then end up playing less than 50 regular season games.    This seems realistic.  You have to consider him on a pitch count of sorts.  His history is pretty well established that his body just will not hold up for more games than this.  It isn't his fault.  His body just isn't durable.

just be careful with him when he gets back. limit minutes and lots of down time and rest. we need him 100% for playoffs

if we have that cat for all playoff games we have a great shot at REPEATING

LET'S GO CELTICS!
